#TheAltonTreause, which is said to date back to the 1st century AD, was found in southern #England and shows #Roman influences within #Celtic design before the Roman conquest of AD 43. The coins depict the faces of various kings of southern England before…
This FASCINATED me.

Meet the 'Gebelein Man', from the Predynastic period, around 3500 BC, who was found in #Gebelein, #Egypt & naturally mummified in the dessert sun/sands for 5000 years! Detail such as his hair had me entranced.

The man's death was caused by a stab wound to his shoulder, which would explain the position of his body. Autopsy deciphered he was a strong man who clearly died painfully. Sights like this are well worth the day out.

Class and cash are mutually exclusive

One needn't be wealthy to dress smartly. As I've always said, even on the days of marching with many football casuals..

I'd rather a person wore cheap button shirts & trousers from burtons than a tacky, tasteless £1000 stone island jacket
Banned from Edward VII pub in #Stratford due to an overly clueless, rude landlord who didn't realise what a public house actually is. Tried aggressively telling us we need permission to take photos before being educated. Obviously, he doesn't realise what a PUBLIC house is.. Mug

Birth of the #OlympicSite & the death of #Stratford, #London. Notice the Railway Tavern pub (bottom left). The modern concept of "progress" is but a destructive, disturbing con.

The Mildenhall Great Dish

From the Cultures/period of the Romano-British (40s AD). The characters include the hero Hercules, drunk on wine, supported by two satyrs. This is a mesmerising, glorious relic from pre-Christian #Britain.

If the "might" and efforts of what became the #BritishEmpire had productively and lovingly faced inwards, as much as it wickedly and pointlessly faced outwards, just imagine how advanced, safe and wholesome our lives could have been.

Communist/Terrorist stickers even have scan codes, yet the state can't seem to stop them? Illegal flyposting is a crime in itself, so why are the unions and their accomplices so free to vandalise Britain. With @ChelseaDan5
