And now every April I sit on my porch,
And I watch the parade pass before me.
I see my old comrades, howŕ proudly they march,
Reliving their dreams of past glory.
I see the old men, all twisted and torn,
The forgotten heroes of a forgotten war.
And the young people ask me, "What are they
marching for?",
And I ask myself the same question..... 🇮🇪

A derelict 20th century flour mill, a destroyed Rank Hovis Premier Mill & a restored grade II listed grain silo rest within the grounds. Let's hope it keeps it's beauty going into the future.

As mentioned in our #Pub series, #MewsHouses were built in the 18th century by wealthy homeowners in #London to serve as accommodation and dinking venues for their servants. Though a tough job this would have been nicer than factory work during the industrial revolution.
