You could bring together every politician, every expert, every intellectual to solve the world’s problems and they would all fail to see -

The great corruption - the great destroyer of our age - is the illness of the spirit.

After our prayer, we began striking fast and hard with precise boxing combinations.

They noticed. The music stopped, and their side-eyed glances turned to fascination—they had never seen anything like it.

Recently, there has been much discussion about borders and immigration. However, these are secondary to the need for a spiritual border around your people, built on shared, exclusionary beliefs rooted in who you are.

As Fustel de Coulanges wrote in The Ancient City:

“The gods of the city are not, therefore, foreign gods, but domestic gods, who belong to the city, and whose worship is essential to the preservation of the city.”

For instance, to be Spartan was to worship the gods of your ancestors, binding your identity to your heritage and the divine guardianship of your city.

Sharing foreign worship makes your city vulnerable to foreign peoples who do not share your heritage, making its borders permeable to ideological conformity rather than ethnic cohesion. The latter will always suffer because of the former.

Establish a spiritual boundary by worshipping your own Gods, and the physical border will naturally follow.

Many will treat friendship and family carelessly - enjoying what serves them, but often being faithless or disloyal when called upon to serve, themselves.

They have completely missed the truth that honour is the great burning sun of the righteous life, and honour can only be gained through acts of love and loyalty to a group or ideal.

Passion, selfishness, narcissism; elevated up the axis - love, selflessness, responsibility to family or fellowship.

Passion is only a false expression of the hunger for unrealized love, purpose, and service to a higher ideal - and it can only be controlled and replaced by these things.

The truest love comes from those who are our blood, or with whom, in blood, we swear our allegiance and loyalty -

only this sense of true belonging and unity with those who we love can bring about the fruition of all these other runes in this first grouping of 8. 

A person of a special type cannot feel himself a part of modern society, since it is devoid of any form, since it has not only sunk to the level of purely material economic and physical values, but does not even want to notice the existence of other levels.
