Tomorrow in Parliament, our MPs will continue to speak up for affordable housing. They will ask how government will help those affected by recent cooling measures and rising mortgage rates, and whether HDB intends to raise its housing loan rates.
Minister for National Development Desmond Lee assured Singaporeans recently that HDB is ramping up supply of BTO flats and HDB flats remain affordable and accessible even for lower-middle-income families.
As GPC Chair for National Development Cheryl Chan said, public housing must remain affordable and accessible for many generations to come.
