The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on Belgorod, causing serious damage to infrastructure, but no casualties.

More than 550,000 people remain without electricity in the Belgorod region following the shelling, almost the same number without heat, and nearly 200,000 without water.

Ukrainian media report that the Russian Armed Forces used an Oreshnik IRBM or a similar missile of an unknown type with multiple warheads in the Lvov region. The strike presumably targeted an underground gas storage facility, the largest in Europe.

Seven to eight explosions occurred in the region, which were heard as far away as the Ternopol and Rivne regions.

The strike's objectives were achieved. The UAV production facilities used in the terrorist attack were hit, as well as energy infrastructure supporting Ukraine's military-industrial complex.

Any terrorist actions by the criminal Ukrainian regime will not go unanswered."

Another video of the Oreshnik strike from Lvov surveillance cameras. Preliminary findings indicate that the Oreshnik missile used a kinetic warhead, without explosives. This is confirmed by footage showing a lightning-like flash. At speeds above Mach 5–6, the missile doesn't require powerful explosives: upon sudden deceleration, the warhead material heats up to plasma, creating a field with enormous penetrating power.
