Organisers, industry reps, and the OG (original) tradies who started this stand for justice are in agreement: they have decided that running from cops for 8 hours straight or risking serious injury from getting shot at whilst simply walking along a CBD street is not serving our protestor community or our message.

Until we can hit a central location with an airtight strategy allowing thousands to gather, the risk to our people is just too great. Therefore it has been decided to focus on local actions within protest cells and prepare for one larger central protest on Saturdays.

There are other actions organisers will be supporting this week that are being coordinated through a grassroots uprising of various industries.

Protest in Edinburgh Gardens has wrapped up with protesters negotiating with police to leave peacefully with no arrests. A small win that made a big impact for media coverage.

This Friday, 1st October at 11am multiple industries will be coming together to show the world through a silent demonstration that our human rights are being violated.

SO FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT THE NURSES SILENT PROTEST CANCELLATION...

Yes it seems the cancellation was a decoy. Today's educators and nurses silent protest was the same one that was 'cancelled'. Due to the attention on the protests right now and heavy policing, it was too risky for them to have it made public amongst the movement.

We think they did a fantastic job!

Hopefully today's actions will inspire others to organise in similar ways!

- Be set to arrive within the central area of the radius zone by 11:30am. Be stationary or driving within the area ready to receive the location drop and move in.
- Location will be dropped at 11:30am on t.me/vicfreedommovement. Be ready to move & time your arrival at the location for 12pm sharp.

* If this event gets shut down by police, this channel will advise that everyone disperse to their local or nearest protest cell location with their local community for park picnics & networking for upcoming rallies.

INSTRUCTIONS COMING FOR TRUCK CONVOY TOMORROW!

Anyone wanting to join the truckie convoy by car is encouraged to merge with them shortly after 6:25am. This will not be a road blockade (from what we know), but will be a slow creeping convoy in all lanes towards the airport from Todd Road petrol station (OUTBOUND).

Truckies do not want to have too many people in cars causing traffic chaos before it's time for them to get on the move, so please don't join until 6.25am.
