📌Weather Report📌

After a breakdown from the bear flag Bitcoin tried to break through resistance and It got rejected again turning the $10,500-$400 level into a clear local resistance. In the short term Trader TJ believes any long positions are invalidated and that we will see more drawback in the short term.

The only way TJ believe a long BTC call would be a good play is if we test the support at $9,800 without significant sell volume. If that level were to hold a long position would be in play but with a close below that level it would invalidate it and would lead to a spot shot call.

Erik on the other hand, hasn’t changed his view much from last week. He did however point out that the Teather people are still manipulating the prices well beyond where it should have. He believes bitcoin is out of balance and could make moves down to the $7,000 level or beyond that because bitcoin is the coin of extremes. Erik also pointed out that the NYAG and Bitfinex is putting a significant strain on the market and all the volume indicates short positions.

Just as expected on the last update we saw this little uptrend break down because the general volume was not supporting the direction.
For the margin department here we would only long if the red box gets turned into a green box (support). Before that, there is not , much bullishness and we will probably re-test the lower support.

Last but not least, XRP, doing as we said it would do. Narrowing down in this wedge, volume pretty bad, not showing any signs of bullishness. I do not see how it will pass the red box but lets see what happens.

Pretty easy and obvious set-up here. We have broken our green box, turned it into a yellow box and now we re-tested it. Big surprise, right?
We are sitting against a very strong MTFL downtrend resistance, combined with a with a bearish momentum on higher timeframes.
Nevertheless, we saw here significant buy-volume on the test/attepmt to break through the yellow box.
For BTC we would wait for either a bullish or bearish engulfing. A bullish engulfing would most likely bring us to the previous resistance at 10400 and a bearish engulfing would turn the yellow box into red box and we would be heading towards 8860.
Game for BTC wait for the move THEN react.

📌Weather Report📌

Bitcoin is showing a pretty obvious setup at the moment. Having recently broken out of the green box it is now retesting the next level. At the moment there is a very strong MTFL downtrend resistance which is combined with recent bearish momentum on longer timeframes. However, we have seen significant buy volume in the yellow box range.

For the BTC/USD pair Trader TJ is waiting for either a bullish or bearish engulfing. If bullish this could bring us to test previous resistance at $10,400 and if bearish we would head lower to the $8860 range. At the moment TJ is waiting for a more definitive move before reacting.

On the other hand Erik believes everything has stayed the same from last week and mentioned that Bitcoin is caught in the bracket most likely staying below $11,000 before we get the next move down. He is looking for break to occur of the bottom support around the $9,000 level.
