How I learned Illustrator πŸ’»βœ¨
8 years ago, I saw a friend of mine making vectors, uploading them to stock websites, and earning money. (P.S. Back then, Shutterstock actually paid really well, and commission rates were high. Old-school stock contributors know exactly what I mean... πŸ’Έ)

The fact that my friend was making money just by creating simple black icons fascinated me. I thought to myself, "I can do way better than this!" and started researching Illustrator.

As soon as I searched on YouTube, I was flooded with tutorials. Watching those videos, I finally created my very first vector. Anyone who has been there knows how amazing that feeling isβ€”looking at your first finished design makes you feel like you own the world! 😍

Of course, the story wasn't that simple. πŸ˜… Shutterstock rejected that first vector. Looking back, oh my god, it was absolutely terrible! But back then, to me, it was the best vector in the entire world.

When I got that rejection email, I was completely devastated. My motivation to create anything new died instantly. But then I sat down and thought:

"I want to do this again. But I need something else to keep me motivated. It shouldn't be Shutterstock, because if I get rejected one more time, I might never have the strength to do this again."

So, I made a decision: "I will record my process and share it as a tutorial on YouTube!" πŸŽ₯🎨

And that's exactly how everything started. This entire "Vectorial" journey was born from that one little failure.

What about your story? How did you start your design journey? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to read it! πŸ‘‡

Hey everyone! You can create so many modern, trendy designs using just these different corner combinations. Just take a single square, tweak its corners like I did in this video, and place them side by side to see what unique figures you can build.

The coolest design trends are often shaped by the simplest steps. If you look closely at recent trends, you'll notice that overly complex combinations are fading away. Instead, it’s all about simplicity: either basic shapes paired with beautiful gradients, or creative variations of simple figures like these. ⚑

The new Adobe Illustrator Beta just dropped a game-changing feature for designers! 🀯πŸ”₯

Tired of constantly opening and tweaking the old align panel just to center your objects? πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ This new update solves it in seconds and makes the daily vector workflow incredibly fast!

Honestly, it’s a total lifesaver for saving time on daily design tasks. Check out the video to see it in action! πŸ‘‡βš‘

A novelty from the past? ⏳✨

Does anyone else feel like the new center-alignment icon in the Illustrator Beta should have been there from the very beginning? πŸ€”

How is it that a system designed with such intricate detail missed this tiny feature for decades?

Some updates make you feel like they arrived from the future, while others feel like delayed fixes from the past. The highly discussed center-align icon is exactly one of those. The minds behind a software as complex as Illustrator simply missed this small detail. Honestly, until it entered our lives, nobody even realized how much they needed it.

But the moment it dropped in Illustrator Beta, everyone had the exact same thought: "Why on earth wasn't this already a thing?!" πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ’¨

It feels like Adobe played a little game with usβ€”much like giant corporations that first create a need and then sell you the solution. They taught us to work around it, an alternative habit we never questioned, only to later say: "Hey, we can actually solve this with a single click!" 🎯

Putting this specific detail aside, the updates coming to Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects Betas are truly life-saving. πŸš€πŸ”₯

What do you think? Which other "obvious" feature or shortcut do you feel is missing and should have been in Illustrator or Photoshop by now? Let me know in the comments! πŸ‘‡βœοΈ

The Silent Contender in the AI Race: Google πŸ€«πŸ€–

Have you noticed how a new AI tool is introduced almost every single day? Or how existing platforms drop updates constantly, as if they are in an endless, breathless race? πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’¨

Tech giants are non-stop releasing ambitious updates, backing them up with countless charts and graphs just to prove they are "the best." From text-to-speech, text-to-image, text-to-video, to image-to-3D modelsβ€”AI tools are evolving in every possible direction. Honestly, when you need an AI tool for a specific task today, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of options. 🀯🌐

But while all this noise is happening, there is one major player leading the race quietly and steadily. Their updates might not always steal the flashy headlines, but they never stop delivering:

Google. 🏒✨

Yes, Google is continuously rolling out massive tools and updates. Have you ever checked out Google AI Studio? It packs a ton of functional tools for live translation, text-to-speech, video, and image generationβ€”and a huge part of it is completely free. πŸ› οΈπŸŽ

Through Google Flow, you can generate stunning photos and videos using Nanobanana Pro and Nanobanana Pro 2. Need a quick image in just a few seconds? Nanobanana Lite has you covered. πŸ“Έβš‘

And then there's NotebookLM, a tool many of you have probably heard of. It has been one of Google's most groundbreaking releases from the very beginning. The things you could do with it were mind-blowing: you could upload all your data, research it instantly, create short video/audio presentations, and even generate incredibly realistic podcasts from your documents. Imagine being on a long road trip; you gather all relevant resource links from the web via Gemini, dump them into NotebookLM, and generate a 1+ hour scientific podcast where two AI hosts discuss the topic like real humans. It literally gives you the chance to master any field on the go! πŸš—πŸŽ§πŸŽ“

And just a few days ago (July 16-17, 2026), this powerful tool received a massive upgrade:

NotebookLM β†’ Gemini Notebook πŸ”„πŸš€
Google has officially rebranded NotebookLM as "Gemini Notebook." While it remains the same independent product, it is now deeply integrated into the Google ecosystem and backed by secure cloud computing.

The biggest technical breakthrough? Gemini Notebook now features sandbox-coded execution. AI Pro users can now actually write and run Python code directly against their documents! πŸ’»πŸ Previously, the system could only index documents and synthesize text answers. Now, it can execute code to analyze data, generate custom charts, and build clean PDFs or spreadsheets. On top of that, these notebooks will soon be visible directly in Google Search’s AI Mode. (Fun fact: The product started as "Project Tailwind" at the 2023 I/O conference and has since grown to over 30 million users and 600,000 organizations!). πŸ“ˆπŸŒ

Google might not scream the loudest, but they are clearly building the backbone of everyday AI utility.

What do you think? Is Google falling behind in this AI race, or are they secretly leading the front line? Let me know your thoughts in the comments! πŸ‘‡πŸ’¬

Is it hard to learn Adobe Illustrator? πŸ’»πŸŽ¨

I’ve been working in Illustrator for many years now, and every single time I achieve a new result using tools I thought I already knew inside out, I think to myself: "Wow, what a deep and endless world this is." I’ve known these tools for years, yet I never imagined they could be utilized in such creative ways!

Do you really need paid courses to learn Illustrator or other Adobe software? πŸ€”

Let’s highlight one undeniable truth: the biggest takeaway you'll get from a paid training program is simply learning what the tools are. Depending on the software, you can easily grasp that in just 1 or 2 lessons. Once you know what the tools do, the rest is entirely up to your own creativity.

Sure, a great mentor who takes their job seriously might add value by showing you how the creative workflow evolves, giving you a personalized approach depending on the specific design field you want to pursue. However, generally speaking, there is already an overwhelming amount of high-quality, free information available on YouTube channels. 🎬✨

If you know exactly what you are searching for, you can learn everything you need from YouTube instead of spending a fortune. Once you master the tools, figuring out how to apply them comes down to your imaginationβ€”which is a skill that only develops and settles over time. β³πŸ“ˆ

Think of it like cooking:
On day 1, even if you have all the ingredients right in front of you, you won't know what to cook. 🍳
By day 100, you’ll be staring at the ingredients, wondering which delicious recipe to pick. πŸ•
By day 200, while everyone else is busy cooking standard dishes, you’ll be mixing contrasting flavors to create entirely new, unique delicacies! πŸ†πŸ”₯

Just like in this latest video! Everyone introduces the tools shown here according to their own "recipe." Watch it until the end and think about it: If it were you, how would you present it? What kind of project would you apply this feature to? πŸŽ―πŸ‘‡

Don't forget to hit the like button! Your likes and comments are what truly motivate me to keep creating. Stay creative and spread love! ❀️✌️

Stop wasting time manually aligning anchor points in Adobe Illustrator! ⏳

When I was first starting out in design, whenever I wanted to taper or expand one side of a shape symmetrically, I used to do it the hard wayβ€”manually dragging points with the Direct Selection Tool or drawing endless reference lines just to eyeball the geometry. πŸ˜…

Then I discovered the ultimate shortcut: Pressing "E" for the Free Transform Tool, selecting Perspective Distort, and holding Alt/Option while dragging! πŸš€

This 1-click trick gives you 100% perfect symmetry instantly and saves hours on vector workflow.

Anyone who works in Illustrator knows this feeling all too well...

When you're first starting out, you come up with the wilder, most DIY workarounds just to get a basic result! πŸ˜…

The truth is, Illustrator almost always has a smart tool or shortcut built right in to handle it in one click. But without making those early, clumsy mistakes, you never really understand how the software works or how to grow as a designer.

The most important part? Once you find a workaround that works, don't just stay there. Keep pushing, keep searching, and keep discovering faster, smarter ways to build your workflow. πŸ’‘πŸš€

In the comments below, I shared one of my own most embarrassing beginner hacksβ€”go check it out! πŸ˜‚

AI art tools don't actually createβ€”they scrape existing art, pull pixels based on your prompt, and stitch it together. Artists are rightfully mad, but the tech is already too far gone to stop. At this stage, the problem isn't the software itself, but how people use it. AI shouldn't be a free-for-all. What’s your take on this?

There is pretty much a tool for everything in Adobe Illustrator. They were missing a dedicated "align to center" icon for the longest time, but hey, at least they finally added it late than never ))

The results you get with some tools are so effortless and functional that we start taking them for granted. Take this corner-controlling trick, for instanceβ€”these simple shape variations constantly end up trending on stock sites. People literally write full blog posts about building compositions out of these seemingly absurd shapes.
