The use and importance of pictures
In VCV, teachers are provided with lots of chances to use pictures (projected images or posters on the screen instead of the old and time-consuming style of carrying posters to class). VCV teachers are asked to spend plenty of time on the activities related to these pictures.
Why are pictures such an important and useful tool for English teaching?
In language teaching, a picture can help produce a thousand words. Many learners think that learning a language is hard or boring, so bringing pictures into the classroom somehow changes everything. Pictures are stimulating, interesting and accessible to everyone. Everyone will pay attention and respond to a strong visual cue. Visual learners often make up a large proportion of a class, so pictures immediately help those students. Pictures provide a talking point and your shy or insecure students will have something to talk about, meaning there will be less speaking-related anxiety.

📖🌏VCV's Blended teaching:
VCV website and apps help you establish a home-school link and combine e-teaching with traditional methods. For each class lesson, there’s a home online lesson. Students will enjoy practicing English at home with their online lessons. Reports enable teachers to compile evidence of learning, and through online activities, parents can see what their child has learned. Parents can play songs and watch the videos with their child at home too. An end-of-term performance report gives teachers the opportunity to know what and how their students have done at home. Teachers can stay in touch with their students through the built-in messaging system as well. Students can study and practice English anywhere and wherever they are, on computers, tablets, smart phones, and TVs.
