The federal government was never meant to be this big. They should be stripped down to just congress and the military. Taxes should cover those salaries and nothing else. Congress should decide minor international affairs and if we go to war, nothing else. All fed laws and regulations abolished. Just individual states rights with all military personnel stationed in their respective home state.
