We would like to take a moment to provide you with an update on the progress of the upcoming VagaWallet update.
As mentioned in our previous month's Vagabond Recap, we initially aimed to release the next VagaWallet update by the end of September. However, we encountered some unexpected challenges during development that require additional attention before we can proceed with the release.
Here are some key points to consider:
Resuming Development: Development of the VagaWallet had been temporarily paused since the release of v1.0.4 earlier this year. We are pleased to announce that our team has resumed work on the wallet, picking up where we left off.
Development Timeline: The development process for the new update commenced in the last week of September and is currently in progress. Due to the complexity of the issues we are addressing, the development timeline is extending beyond our initial estimates.
Login Issue: One of the primary challenges we are addressing is the login issue that some users have been experiencing with their accounts. Our development team is working diligently to resolve this issue and ensure a seamless login experience for all users.
Limited Resources: In this initial development stage, we have allocated limited resources to the update. Despite these constraints, we are committed to delivering a high-quality update asap. It's important to note that a significant portion of our resources are still dedicated to the development and advancement of a key partnership (TBA), as mentioned in our previous recap. This focus will persist until at least early November.
We will continue to keep you informed of our progress through our Telegram and Discord channels. Your support and patience are greatly appreciated as we work to enhance your VagaWallet experience.

A peek into our recent progress
Dear Vagabond Community,
We are writing to inform you of a recent development concerning our VGO token listed on the Bitrue exchange.
Bitrue has decided to end support for several assets, including VGO, as per their delisting guidelines.
Here’s what this means for VGO token holders on Bitrue:
Deposits: Deposits for VGO have already been closed. Any attempts to deposit VGO tokens to Bitrue from now on may result in the loss of those tokens.
Trading: Trading for VGO is no longer possible. Any open orders have been automatically removed.
Withdrawals: Withdrawals of VGO will remain available until January 12, 2024. We strongly urge all VGO holders on Bitrue to withdraw their tokens to a secure BSC compatible self-custody wallet as soon as possible. After January 12, 2024, withdrawals will be disabled, and the Bitrue team will no longer be able to assist in retrieving VGO tokens.
If you require assistance with the withdrawal process, please contact Bitrue’s customer support team directly.
We remain committed to the growth and success of Vagabond, and we will keep you updated on any new developments regarding the eventual listing of VGO / VAGA pairing on the to-be-released VagaSwap DEX.

What’s hip, what’s not, and everything in between
Dear Community,
Over the past week, we've immersed ourselves in extensive research, coding, and writing. Through this process, we've realized that the scope of this project exceeds what we can manage on our own. Committing all our resources to this project would mean diverting our focus entirely from Vagabond, which is not feasible.
Therefore, we've decided to spin off this project into its own entity, complete with a new name and management team.
VagaSync will be rebranded as SYNNQ, and it will operate as a newly founded startup with the goal of becoming a fully Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). We are currently in discussions with leading figures in the blockchain industry, as well as significant names from other sectors, to join us on this journey. SYNNQ will navigate the typical startup path, including building its identity, securing funding, development, team building, and more.
What role will Vagabond play in this? Initially, the project will be managed by some members of the Vagabond team. Over time, the management will transition to a DAO, which we will create and a stakeholders will define.
Why SYNNQ? As mentioned, the project's scale is too vast for us to handle alone. Additionally, there are conflicts of interest, and Vagabond lacks the necessary resources (both manpower and budget).
What's next? We'll be launching the landing page next week, where we will detail every aspect of this project to the world and beyond.
