UTAR hosted a delegation from Huangshan University on 21 November 2024 at its Sungai Long Campus. The delegation, led by Director of Academic Affairs Prof Dr Fang Huiping, included Director of Research Prof Dr Wang Hongfeng, Dean of Education Sciences Prof Dr Wang Haibin, and Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs Prof Dr Yin Meng. Accompanying them were representatives from Uniting Education Sdn Bhd, including CEO Dr Ling Wang and Project Management Director Ms Diana Liang.
UTAR representatives, led by Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Ir Prof Dr Goi Bok Min, included Faculty of Accountancy and Management Dean Dr Pok Wei Fong, Office of International Affairs Director Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, Centre for International Student Recruitment and Education Collaboration Director Mr Lee Choy Fong, Faculty of Creative Industries Deputy Dean (R&D and Postgraduate Programmes) Dr Cynthia Lau Pui-Shan, and Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research Deputy Director Assoc Prof Ir Ts Dr Bernard Saw Lip Huat.
The visit featured welcome speeches, institutional videos, and discussions on potential collaborations, including study tours, student and staff exchanges, joint workshops, and postgraduate programmes. The event concluded with an exchange of mementoes and a group photograph.

On 26 November 2024, UTAR welcomed a delegation from the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) to its Sungai Long Campus to discuss potential collaboration and strengthen ties between the two institutions.
The delegation consisted of NYCU College of Artificial Intelligence Associate Dean Prof Lai Bo-Cheng, EECS International Graduate Programme Director Prof Van Lan-Da, Associate Director Prof Huang Yu-Chih and Executive Assistant Ms Liao Wen-Hsuan. NYCU College of Electrical and Computer Engineering Dean Prof Wang Li-Chun attended the meeting via Microsoft Teams.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES) Dean Prof Ts Dr Yap Wun She, UTAR Office of International Affairs Director Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering academic Dr Lee Ying Loong and OIA Manager Ms Liu Dan. Also joining them online via Microsoft Teams were Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) Deputy Dean for R&D and Postgraduate Programmes Assoc Prof Ts Dr Goh Hock Guan and Head of Programme for Postgraduate Programmes Ts Dr Khor Siak Wang.
Laying the groundwork for future collaborations, the discussion between the two parties focused on potential collaborations, including student and staff mobility programme, talent cultivation, and so on.
