On 20 June 2024, 79 students and eight teachers from 马六甲培风中学 Pay Fong Middle School, Melaka embarked on a trip to UTAR Kampar Campus. They explored the vibrant campus, advanced facilities, and diverse academic programmes.
Organised by the Division of Programme Promotion (DPP), the trip began with a tour of UTAR Hospital, including the T&CM Centre (传统与辅助医疗中心) and the Western Medical Centre. Furthermore, the educational trip featured a session on "Introduction to UTAR Programmes and Financial Aid", followed by workshops. The Confucius Institute (拉曼大学孔子学院) showcased an exhibition on Chinese culture, featuring Chinese chess (象棋), calligraphy (书法), tea tasting (茶道), and traditional dress (Hanfu 汉服).
Additional workshops were conducted by the Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology (FEGT), the Faculty of Business and Finance (FBF), the Faculty of Science (FSc), and the Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FAS). The day ended with a guided campus tour.
