TL;DR: In summary, excess mortality was likely caused by local events, such as poverty related, injury, overdose & alcohol related deaths - and not a globally spreading novel risk-additive pathogen. Vastly unvaccinated counties did not perform worse than highly vaccinated counties.

CDC has responded to my FOIA request, in which I have asked for records related to these four points:
1. Records on single virion sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 that ensured the virion was physically isolated from any other genetic material before sequencing.
2. Records of a single sequencing (long-)read from the first position [..] to the last position [..] of the genome. [..]
3. Records of a perfectly assembled contig [..] by a metagenomic assembler like Megahit (as used by Wu et al, 2020) [..].

🇺🇸 USA Excess Mortality is almost back to the 3y pre-pandemic average levels!

- Excess Mortality only started in 2021
- Mostly age groups 60+ are affected, clearly 80+
- Overall, Singapore observed 10-20% crude excess mortality

🔥🔥🔥 A new peer-reviewed study from 🇯🇵Japan has found that individuals vaccinated against COVID-19 experienced a significantly higher likelihood of infection compared to unvaccinated individuals.

Additionally, the study reported that social distancing and masking did not appear to reduce infection rates.

However, personal hygiene, healthy eating habits, and regular exercise were associated with a decreased risk of infection.
