I remember when people told me that Siacoin was going to be the revolutionary future of digital storage of documents on teh blockchain and it pumped 100x against bitcoin, and ever since then they haven't even updated their github in over 2 years
I remember when charlie lee said litecoin was going to be the silver to bitcoin and a super contender in the space and then he went on CNBC and shilled it and sold 100% of all his coins, it hasn't even gone x2 this entire bullrun from the bottom against btc
I can name you 500+ other rubbish alts that were the "future" at the time and sounded really good and pumped really hard but now they're just abandoned dogshit rubbish and here is bitcoin from my first time i bought it $2k and about to begin the pump up to $100k and will continue to pump to $1mm then $5mm as the years go on and it becomes twice as hard to mine from halvenings, hyper inflation from the Fed, and 8 billion people all try to get their hands on at least one coin.
Now tell me what altcoin can i put 100% of my net worth into and walk away for 20 years with no worries? None, absolutely none. Alts are a fucking meme and a farce and their only reason to exist is to make more bitcoin. You would not understand.

Presidente da SEC, a CVM dos EUA, Gary Gensler disse que o Bitcoin é a única criptomoeda que ele está preparado para chamar publicamente de commodity.
Além disso, ele afirmou que os principais reguladores dos EUA concordaram que criptomoedas são ativos especulativos de alto risco.
Gensler disse também que muitos tokens possuem "características chave" para serem valores mobiliários, o que os coloca sobre a jurisdição da SEC.
Porém, o Bitcoin entra em uma categoria diferente.
O Presidente da SEC disse que "algumas como o Bitcoin" são commodities. Não citando nomes, ele afirmou que Bitcoin era a única cripto que ele estava disposto a chamar de commodity.
Quando perguntado se o público já estava confortável ao investir em Bitcoin, especialmente agora que a SEC o considera uma commodity, Gensler disse que o investimento não é diferente dos feitos no mercado tradicional.
"Existe muito risco em cripto, mas também há risco em mercados tradicionais", ele afirmou.
