The CD3 Representative race triggered a required recount due to the close results. Secretary of State Jena Griswold Ordered the Recount on November 30, 2022. The recount started on December 2, 2022 in Alamosa County where they performed the Logic and Accuracy Test and started Rescanning the ballots.
Colorado Statute § 1-10.5-102 (3)(a) states: Prior to any recount... The [Canvas] board shall use the voting devices it has selected to conduct a comparison of the machine count of the ballots counted on each such voting device for the candidate race to the corresponding manual count of the voter-verified paper records.
The Secretary of State's Order for the recount directs the County Clerks to bypass this vital step in the recount. What are YOU going to do about it?

♦️Show up at the election center and peacefully watch the public recount.
♦️Talk to the clerk and election supervisors.
♦️If you can't be an official watcher, be an official loiterer in the hall ways, educating everyone who will listen about the power of 102(3)(a). Ask them “Sir/Mam, I happened to notice the statutory requirements for testing the machines is not being followed, were you aware that the Secretary’s instructions are leading you to break the law. The rescan should not have begun without this testing having been done.”

I can't stress how important it is that we all send the clerks in CD3 this email. They are going to perform this recount without following the law - AGAIN - and then use it as precedent for the future...

This is so sad. This is the Dominion Class action case that Lori is a plaintiff on. I am a bit concerned because the GA Supreme Court ruled last month that Voter did have standing. I hope this SCOTUS decision will not prevent all voters from having standing nationwide!

Understanding the CO SOS's excuse for why they aren't holding legal recounts

Today a Pro Se Petition and TRO was filed in District Court in Gunnison Colorado. Although the Restraining Order was denied this afternoon, the Judge set up a conference hearing for Monday at 4pm in Gunnison. The deadline to complete the recount is Tuesday, this means he ran out the clock by denying the TRO. But we aren't finished!

I am asking for prayer. The fact the we got past the first hurdle is a God thing. Please pray that we find the evidence and argument needed.

What can you do to help?

***As a group we can come up with evidence of harm.

Ask yourself, How has the fraud in the elections harmed us? Specifically, how has them Not performing the recount lawfully harmed us?

***Has anyone had any conversations that reveal the SOS ordering the clerks to not to do the Manual recount?
***Do we have affidavits from recount watchers or Canvas members?
*** Canvas members? Why were you told you were not going to do the Comparison?

***THIS is the evidence we need to nail the SOS.

Given that this is a 6 year contract, this equipment will be used 3 times over the six years, excluding, say a special election cycle. This is ~ 2.3MM per election cycle all in for, at most, 700,000 register voters. Given a 60% nominal participation rate, this would amount to ~ $5.50/per ballot/per election cycle.

You could also look at this in terms of the number of days in use as well. Taking a nominal 30 day voting period per cycle, that would mean the system is in use ~ 90 days during the contract period. This amounts to ~ $78,000/day during the election cycle. I have no data on what the insurance costs are on this capital equipment OR if they are on a depreciation schedule.

My basic math for hand counting. Say 700k people x 80% turnout = 560k ballots. A bi-partisan team of two could probably count 1,000 ballots easily in 4 hours. 560 teams x 2 people = 1120 people: x 4 hours = 4480 hours; x $15.00 per hour (which is more than election judges were paid) =$67,200. Round it up to $100k. A drop in the bucket compared to the machines. That's one election. 6 year contract... substantially less than $7 million. Probably less than $1 million. Just sayin'...

For presidential primary elections, there are at least two reasons to use a better voting method:

1) Voters would like to say more about the candidates. Right now, voters get to choose only one candidate on the primary ballot. If that candidate doesn’t get 15%, then the voter “wasted” their vote.

2) Voters would like to have a back-up choice in case their candidate drops out between the time the voter returns their mail ballot and Election Day.

Wish us luck. Better yet pray! We have a 4pm hearing on the TRO and injunction to stop the illegally conducted recount of CD3 congressional race. Justice v Griswold. The best title ever on a case against our criminal SOS will forever be on the Court record. CO law says they must compare a manual count of the ballots with at least one voting device prior to a recount. She has ordered the clerks not to do this but instead do a simple LAT with the test deck.
