(Completely on immigration and migrants)
1. You're from Kerala. Why a lot of people from Kerala go to Gulf? (While answering, I also mentioned about recent reduction in migration to Gulf)
2. What are the reasons for reduction in Gulf migrants?
3. Recent Migrant crisis - what are the reasons for this, sociologically?
4. Do you think the issue is getting better now?
5. Do you think the states could've handled the migrant situation better? (I said yes and talked about actions taken in Kerala)
6. How does this migrant crisis affect the Indian economy?
7. Do you think there is chance of infection spreading because of migrants going back? ( I said about present surge being limited to Urban areas and possible of a rural spike later)
8. What actions should we take to control that kind of situation in rural areas (spreading of infection) ( i said about rural health infra, resources and use portable testing kits)
9. Shouldn't we raise awareness among people in rural areas? (Answered in affirmative and talked about leveraging LSGs for that)
Back to Chairman. He said "Your interview is over, you can go"
Started with Optional and Hobbies, then went back to Optional theory before ending with some current issues. And Chairman didn't ask any questions, may be because all other members took a lot of time.
All of board members were wearing masks at all times and never asked whether I wanted to remove my mask, even after I kept readjusting my mask for like 6 times. So, eventhough some boards are allowing to remove your masks, don't count on it. And it's better not to ask the board permission to remove it.
Good luck all. Perform well
