Attention: If an indigenous Indian species is already listed in Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act (WPA), 1972, and is later added to a CITES Appendix, it does not leave Schedule I to become just a "Schedule IV" species. Thus this turtle is WPA I species and not WPA IV species.
Two problems with Biofuel (in addition to other)
1. NOx emmission Is higher than fossil fuel, generally speaking.
2. Cold flow
Fossil fuel -5°C to -15°C
Biodiesel (B100) 0°C to 15°C
The fuel start to crystalise at this temperature range

I am sure, you already know that biofuel are less energy dense than fossil fuel and you already know that biofuels emmit less GHG gasses and adds to ebergy security to fuel import dependent countries.

“I think and think and think, I've thought myself out of happiness one million times, but never once into it.” — Jonathan Safran Foer

I understand that you might be anxious regarding your performance in the UPSC CSE 2026 Preliminary exam. Most of us are in the same situation. However overthinking does not solve the problem. I have no means to alleviate your anxiety but to say few words. It is better to focus on the mains preparation as if you are getting passed in the preliminary exam. Focus on Optional, revise and attempt mains PYQ. Alternatively, if you are 100% sure that you wont get through and you have another exam coming then focus solely on that exam. You can still give some time to UPSC optional subject.
Overthinking and regret are habit that brings you not fruit. These habits tax your faculty to act on what is more important- reposition yourself and give it all!

How
1. The "Nothing to Gain, Everything to Lose" Investment Mindset - When interest rates are ultra-low, bond yields drop too. If you buy a bond at a low interest rate, you are locking your money up for years for a tiny reward.
2. The Deflation or Economic Anxiety Threat - Extremely low interest rates don't happen in a vacuum; central banks usually drop rates to zero because the economy is struggling or crashing. This generates fear among people.
3. The "Opportunity Cost" of Holding Cash Drops to Zero - In normal economic times, holding cash has a high "opportunity cost." If a bank account offers 6% interest, holding physical cash means you are actively choosing to lose 6% a year.

Did Vaibhav Sooryavanshi deliver the greatest batting campaign in IPL history? | Cricket News - The Times of India
I don't want want anyone to be mad about cricket or any game that they are not playing professionally themselves. I also believe that IPL is "Katchra of Cricket".

However, this is something else. I mean it is not bad to witness growth of a legend. I was interested in Dhoni when he was breaking Cricket. Same with Kohli and now Suryavanshi. Besides, with the speed and consistency he is breaking the records, it is quite possible that he gets you extra marks in MCQ type question (especially state PSC), given that the current pattern of UPSC CSE. So do follow (but not excessively) the growing legends such as Suryavanshi, Gukesh, Pragnandha and Divya Deshmukh.

Soilification technology, also known as Desert Soilification Technology, is an innovative biotechnological method designed to convert barren desert sand into a soil-like substrate capable of supporting agricultural activities.

Mechanism of Action:
Polymer-Based Bioformulation: Natural polymers and microbial formulations are applied to desert sand.
Cross-Linking: Bio-polymers establish a structural network that binds sand grains into a cohesive, soil-like matrix.
Water Retention: The modified structure retains moisture, reducing irrigation requirements by 30–40%.
Microbial Enhancement: Beneficial microbes increase fertility, stimulate plant growth, and improve crop resistance to stress.
