Over the past few weeks, many of you may have noticed that the system was increasingly unstable and buggy. That’s why we made the important decision to completely rebuild our entire API infrastructure from scratch.
✅ We’re excited to share that the new API is now live — built on modern technologies that were simply not compatible with the old system, originally coded over six years ago. Rather than patching it up, rebuilding it from the ground up was the only way to ensure long-term stability and performance.
This new backend allows us to integrate more advanced and constantly updated libraries, making it easier and faster for us to adapt and respond to ongoing changes from Spotify. It also allowed us to fully stabilize the renew and transfer system, which had been experiencing issues.
