✨Unreal tips and tricks | Episode 01
As an environment artist, you need to try as many light scenarios as you can. With a nondestructive workflow, you can create your rig separately as presets or parallelize the work with the lighting artist.
By working on your light setup in a separate level, you can simply add it to the level panel while working on your environment as a persistent level. This allows you to toggle between different scenarios seamlessly.
You have to change the streaming method to "light scenario" if you are going to build your level. This ensures that each light level builds individually.
This quick, simple, but efficient approach allows you to observe your work in different looks and get the best out of it.
