The Scam of positive and negative thinking

Positive thinking is a scam

It is a comfort zone, designed by humans to ignore reality

An Optimist sees the glass as "half - full"

Similarly, Negative thinking is also a scam

A pessimist sees the glass as half empty

All of these thinking patterns involve filtering reality though a pre-conditioned lense

They provide inaccurate view of reality

"Forcing oneself" to see the thing in a certain way

Can't you see the glass, as it is? Half full, and half empty?

The truth lies in seeing the things as they are, without distortion

"How to see things as they are?"

Don't believe in lies.

Lies twist and augment reality.
You get a distorted picture in mind only because of your mental baggage.

Strip all lies.

What remains is the truth.

If it's not Truth, then you still have lies inside you.

How would you know if it's a truth or a lie? What is your baseline for measurement?

How would you know if it's a truth or a lie? What is your baseline for measurement? Who's credibility do you trust for information
What is your baseline for measurement?

Nothing.

Who's credibility do you trust?

Nobody.

Truth is independent of all of these things.

How would you know if it's a truth of lie?

Now this question is hard to answer.

It's hard to arrive at truth. If you look at human beings, we are easily deluded. That's why we can't trust anyone.

We believed that earth was the centre of the universe. That was false. A lie. We can know that for sure.

We also believed that earth was flat millions of years ago. That was a clear lie. We can certainly know lies.

Truth isn't so obvious like that.

There are many many lies that we believe for the sake of survival.

If you are serious about arriving at the truth, then you must put in work to deconstruct all lies.

What's left after is the truth
Simple

Truth doesn't need to be told, since it assumes that the person telling the truth, is trustable.

There is no criteria for truth, other than the requirement that it should not be a lie.

Truth is above all criteria and measurements.

Every single enlightened teacher I know once went through this phase.

Because we get pleasure from teaching and seeing others grow.

But the mistake is to think that other people will be at the same level of psychological development of the psyche so as to be even open to growth.

Keyword : open.

I don't want you to believe in anything I say.

Infact all I say is a lie.

But even after all of it, just be open-minded enough to consider it.

Don't agree, neither dismiss.

Instead think like this: This guy seems interesting. Let me listen and think about it myself.

That should be your attitude.

Things never went according to plan in 2020. I needed a lot of time to acclimatize to the new environment.

I feel like I am there now.

Totally in the zone.

Even though I am at my home always, I am busy as fuck.
But it's my home.

This is where I work at my peak.

From now on, you will see a new level of clarity and focus to my threads.

Can't promise you on the Consistency though.

I am still in the launching phase and that's carving up a lot of my energy and weekends are the only time I am able to find time writing and conversing with you guys.

I think this will continue for atleast 6 more months, I wish WFH continues.

I don't want to waste my time doing chit chat with random Joe at work.

Hope you all are Killing it.πŸ’―
All theories are assumptions.

Theories are explanations built to "make sense" of reality.
But reality is more that what meets your senses.

Especially the materilaist reality.
In materilaist only things that stop light is considered worthy of studying.

Please tell me why an object is required to stop photons and reflect them back to your eye balls to be considered worthy for study.

What if there are things that do not sto light, but they are very important things worth studying?

The abstract itself isn't reality.
It dosen't even exist.

What exists is what you perceive.

For those desperate for knowing the truth which I was holding you back from, here it is:

Truth is what you are experiencing right now.

Truth is the perception.

Direct perception is the truth.

What you see now, is the truth.

What you add on to the truth is the mental baggage that you carry from your society you grew up in.

Don't take this lightly because it's so profound.

Pure reality =

Reality stripped of your bullshit crazy retarded assumptions.

This is synonymous to pure Consciousness, but let's keep it aside.

One of the assumptions that you hold =

Earth is round in shape.

Please don't come at me saying it's obvious. I am a scientifically literate engineer. I know.

But the question is, have you ever seen the earth to be a sphere?

Have you really seen it with your eyes?

Or did you believe it because everyone else around you told you?

Just because you have got on a plane dosen't mean that you got to see earth round.

You need to fly to actual fucking space to see if earth is flat.

Let's be real, you didn't do that.

"But Bobbyyy...are you saying that the earth is flat?

Are you an idiotic flat rather??"

No.

Because I haven't seen that the earth is flat either.

I am choosing not to side with any of your bullshit assumptions.

Not believing in something, dosen't mean that you have to believe in the opposite of that thing.

You can dismiss all beliefs, including "not believing".

Not believing in God is also, weirdly, a belief.

Deep down atheist think that this is a shitty belief. Which itself is a belief.

That somehow, a part of the population is dumb for believing that there is dude in the sky watching you having sex everyday....

Nevertheless I want you to see the deeper picture.

You are operating on a lot of assumptions.
These assumptions are here to explain reality, to make sense to you.
Note that reality itself dosen't need explanations.

"Explanations" are something that the human mind requires to clam the f down at the moment.

These assumptions hold you back from the truth.

Truth is what's in your consciousness right now.

Look what is infront of you,

No, seriously look.

What do you see?

A penguin? 🐧

A bird? πŸ”

A laptop? πŸ’»

Then for you, that's the "ultimate truth" from your point of view.

If you want to understand the absolute ultimate POV, then you got to expand the fuck out of your consciousness and your reality.

But your assumptions always stand in the way.

Your assumptions, although not backed up by proof, give you solace and comfort.

And you slowly become an emotional weasel.
Doing things in your comfort zone, wondering why life dosen't feel effortless and free flowing.

Because of your shitty assumptions, dummy.

Change your assumptions, play with them. See what happens.

This is too big of a topic to talk about..

So definitely will continue on this.
πŸ‘1
When you are living your life, try to rely on as less assumptions as possible.

Be sincere in doing this practice.

Assumptions = lies.

But when you have to do something, you inevitably have to make some assumptions.

This is drinking the POT even after knowing that it's poison.

Nevertheless, the guy the lowest amount of assumptions will succeed in the task at hand.

That's how important it is to strip you of all your assumptions.

More assumptions brings more suffering.

Less assumptions bring true bliss and make you "God like".

To maximise your success, when you are doing something, be as flexible as you can with you assumptions.

Be willing to change them with changing content.

Adapt and improvise.

If you are too IDEOLOGICAL and RIGID with your assumptions, you will be left to bite the dust.

But at the same time, while you are doing something, you can't afford to not make assumptions too.

Having assumptions in that case is like having a plan.

And having a plan is better than not having a plan at all.

Assumptions are made for the purpose to give you a string FOUNDATION.

THEY GROUND YOU IN SOMETHING.

Not having a firm foundation makes you look like a potato having no clue what's going on.

Don't be this guy too.

The strongest foundations are also the simplest.

You cannot build a complex structure and expect it to last forever. But simple ones do make it for eons of time.

Read on Einstellung Effect.

Ever wondered why the average IQ of Chinese is 105.

The single most contributing factor to this is the complex Chinese language.

Their characters dosen't work like English alphabets.

In English, we have 26 letters which has a certain sound for pronunciation. We combine the letters to form words which is a combination of the pronunciation of the letters themselves.

Chinese language works differently.

In Chinese, the closest equivalent of letters in English are called radicals. Around 200 of them exists.

Radicals are combined to form characters. Characters are the equivalent of words in English.

Radicals don't form characters the same way alphabets from words in English.

The characters are a combination of radicals.

A character represents a word, but looks like a symbol.

In a way, the fundamental unit of Chinese language is the characters. They directly have to memorize the characters for each words.

A college graduate in China may know 5k characters.
A western college graduate may know 20k English words.

Chinese language operate at a level of complexity above the English.

As a consequence the average Chinese must organize their brains in a complex way to use the language.

Learning an extra language makes the brain age less faster, because you need to make a shit ton of connections between the symbolic representations and the actual things.

That's what IQ is in a nutshell.

Your ability to comprehend complex concepts faster.

Complex concepts = The inter connection b/w the fundamental elements of the concept is damn high, therefore hard to understand for low IQs.

Moreover if you don't make it to college, then the possibility of moving upwards the dominance heirarchy is almost completely eliminated.

You have to study hard as fuck to excel as a Chinese student.

Your understanding of STEM has to be at its finest.
And they have devoted entire cities just for students to study with no video games nor avenues for entertainment.

This intense intellectual training can easily result in average Chinese IQ to 105.

Studying a language as complex as Chinese definitely makes your brain work better.

So here is your takeaway.

1. Obviously, learn more languages, especially Chinese.
If you are comfortable with English or Hindi, this will definitely push your brain.

I decided to study it.

2. How to study English like Chinese?

In my dissection of symbols thread, I have talked about how the most fundamental unit of the English are symbols/alphabets.

Now make the fundamental units and WORDS instead of individual symbols.

Each words stand for itself.

Definitely mind boggling to know this idea.

Everything makes sense when you find connections and integrate it to your own psyche.

The mind has the capacity to do that.

It has the capacity to understand.

Honor it.

Disclaimer: Just don't take anything on faith.

I know easily for a fact that all of twitter are just normal ass people spewing their shit.

You are impressed by their shit because you yourself are one.

Noone really takes the pursuit of truth seriously and desperately.

Half information is abundant.

Everyone is an expert in some stupid niche.

But what's the benifit of knowing a small fucking finite aspect when you have to know the entire thing conclusively to know how it works?

-People who claim they don't like/study politics seriously, because "masses are stupid",

Also give political opinions and expects you to take them seriously.

-People who never truly studied left wing/right wing claim the other side is stupid or "dumb".

Calling others as "dumb" and "stupid" are usually done by people who think that they themselves are smart. Always.

There are plenty of smart people in the left wing than right wing in my personal experience.

Nevertheless I won't call anyone mad, because there is a wealth of knowledge to be gained from how even a single individual.

Calling them dumb/crazy/ is too reductionistic.

- People who failed their 8 standard, not having the slightest clue on how medicines work, giving opinions on vaccines and science.

- Conspiracy theories

Almost all conspiracy theories are I'll formed, fear based, evidence lacking, double standard approach to reality.

They peddle billions of conspiracy theories and one of them being true by chance will make them credible, while scientists who make thousands of things correct is crucified for a few wrong predictions.

And so on...

The examples of people uber confident because of their half knowledge are just a pain in the ass.

Confidence comes from understanding the entire situation at hand. It gives you intuitive insights to know what to do in an instant.

If you are having half knowledge about anything, please do me a favor, dial down your confidence.

Then understand the whole situation. Make efforts.

It's so much easier to learn when you don't have already existing baggage in your brain distorting new incoming information.

This is the consequences of half knowledge.
Such finite structures can keep you chained for as long as you allow it.

IF YOU ARE TRULY SINCERE IN YOUR EFFORTS, THEN THE UNIVERSE WON'T DENY YOU KNOWLEDGE, NOR LIBERATION

But naah, you wanna be a little bitch that you are holding on to your petty shit, and as if that's not enough you try to coerce others in fucked and twisted ways and bring up even more manipulative fucked arguments for why you are correct.
No intellectual mind bending ass thoughts today.

I want to make a point about the most cliched message ever.

Smile - Laughter - Humor

How much are you able to just chill and smile at things?

How often do you just forget the fuck about everything and laugh it off?

This includes everything your family, friends even your acheivements and goals.

"But bobbb, how will I achieve anything if I don't constantly work 69 hours a week, burning out my life?????"

You working like a machine will also make you behave like one.
You will have no control of your own psyche nor internal well being. Dosen't matter even if you net worth surpasses millions.

*The amount of times you are able to smile in a day is inversely proportional to your level of ideological indoctrination.*

Here I discussed some important aspects of ideological indoctrination:

https://twitter.com/Universal_Intel/status/1419342487399718926?s=19

One rule in life:

DON'T BE IDEOLOGICAL.

It's not just the extreme religious fundamentalists that you ideological.

Even you are. Many times a day.

That's why you are not happy.

Coming back to my original point on smiling, the first person that comes to mind is Sadhguru.

Please search up his name and watch his first 20 videos.
Keep a joke/smile/laugh counter with you.

He would have laughed like a little girl, make jokes atleast 10-15 times.

Now take some other person:
Let it be Jordan Peterson.

Watched his lectures for hours.

All I was able to see was a few forced laughter. He is not able to laugh his mind out, and I suspect that has something to do with his current addiction and looks. He looks too old for his age.

Don't hold ideologies:
Leave them.

Being ideological isn't truth.
Because ideologies need protection and spreading to survive.
(All religions, atheism(also an advanced religion), feminism, capitalism, socialism, communism etc all are prime ideological material adopted by the masses.)

Truth itself dosen't need any 120 kg alpha giga hyper chad to protect it.

It will remain true, by its very nature.

When you are free from ideology, you don't feel obliged to protect anything.

You are free and able to take life lightly.

That's when humor truly sprouts in you.

Life begins to look like play rather than work, or inching towards winning the rat race that may fetch you some power, that you will enjoy for a little part of your life, after which you will lose both. πŸ€£πŸ˜…

Life is what is infront of you right now. Not what you win 10 years later
πŸ‘1
Also an interesting tip:

Crack jokes whenever you can.

It might seem simple but it can bring a whole different vibe to the place that you are in.

Jokes depends on an element of surprise.

In every situation that you are in, find a list of 5 things that people don't normally expect.

Some of them will qualify for appropriate jokes. But don't worry.

You will get better at it over time.
Just start cracking jokes.

Start figuring out things that are unexpected.

Pro tip: Use memes and tons of jokes said by witty people and use them in real life too.

Dosen't matter if it's recycled.

It must only make people laugh.
πŸ‘1
I always deeply fear that I may end up talking about abstract shit that I lose any connection to actual reality....So I take extreme care to not let my abstract abilities interfere with my day to day practical life.

So if you feel like that, you could do the work to connect the abstract concepts I provide here with the actual everyday reality that you are in.

I was always super capable of making such connections even when I was a child.
I never cared to explain them though.

But now I can.

So if you need solid examples for the things that I say, please let me know....
(Only if you couldn't find out on your own)
πŸ‘1
A lot of people whom you admire, may not seem fit to learn from anymore, after you have consumed their content for long.

If you ever feel like this, don't hesitate to leave your master and find a better one.

Don't be like a clingy gf who can't detach from her asshole bf.

Infact this phenomenon is far common than you may think.

Inside you, you feel a strong force pulling you into greater things, but you simply cannot break off from your already existing bondage.

Every master has their own little biases. Don't let this make you think that you are better than them.

Beware of nitpicking. When you truly feel like you have outgrown your master, it will be obvious to your, but not so explicitly.

It will be a strong intuitive internally *grounded feeling*.
Meditation helps you tune into your internal feelings.

Your internal feelings are a GPS that is connected to the infinite intelligence. It will give you instantaneous signals to when you should do something or not.

Women in general are more in tune with this feeling. But they are less likely to take action, hence capturing them in toxic relationships for long.

Men are relatively less in touch with this feeling, but more willing to take action once it the intention is clear.

It's all a gut feeling.

Use that same gut feeling when it comes to vetting masters.

A master is anyone who has more knowledge/understanding/mastery than you.

Mastery is a relative thing.

Someone maybe a master to you depending on your level and their level.

When you are growing you will naturally outshine them.

Some of the examples from my own life.

Growing up as an atheist teenager, I used to wonder why religious people believe in all these weird crazy shit.
None of those made any sense to me. They would become violent, defensive & abusive the moment you start question their nonsense.

So I naturally looked at the internet made and became a fan of atheist Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Krauss, Neil D Tyson and you know, all those scientists who had something against God.

Note: I thought they will give superb arguments for why God doesn't exist and shit. But deep down I was never satisfied with their line of reasoning.

Despite that I wanted someone who was NOT religious.
That was the level of my understanding at the time.

So any atheist could have been my master.

But then I used to explore life on my own to boost my understanding of the universe.

I realised that both the atheists and religious people were wrong in their beliefs.

I began listening to other people who gave better arguments for the existence of God and began to analyse all sides deeply.

Long story short, once I started understanding Science and religion better, I knew precisely why religious dudes thought the way they thought and scientists thought the way they thought.

It was all so damn obvious.

I never needed to believe in anything, and I saw God for myself.

I understand the whole confusion after years of research and study and thousands of hours of contemplating...my favourite spiritual tool in my bad.

Just sitting around slowly thinking, playing around about life.

Anyways my deeper point was that, it was hard for me to reject Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss.
They were my childhood heros.

It was almost as troubling as a break up. Nevertheless I broke the student master relationship.

In twitter you will meet so many Guru's who claim to be masters in things.

They may even have tens and thousands of followers. But they are RIGHT in their most fundamental understandings of the world.

Some has better understanding than others, but at a higher level, all of them are not so better off.

If you are serious about your own development, then you will see that you easily surpass these Twatter gurus..

This includes me too...

If you truly believe that you understand the world better than I do, there is no need that you should be following me at all.

Listen to your gut, anon.
https://twitter.com/Universal_Intel/status/1429883528565575722?s=19

Always.

The best way to escape reality is to understand and embrace the inside-out of it.

No short cuts to understanding.

This is all my ultimate mission in life. Nothing else.

_Everyone does good in their eyes_

Nobody likes to be called evil.

In everyone's mind, they are the good guys. There is no exception to this. Even for psychopaths.

Everyone does what is good for themselves.

They don't have an absolute perception of good, rather a relative perception of good.

Whatever that helps me survive is good for "me".

The fact that "others" may exist in survival conditions different to them, may perceive different things as good won't occur to them.

The fact that their percept of reality is limited also doesn't occur to them.

From their level of understanding, perception, worldview, consciousness, whatever they do is in the name of good.

I am going to take it to the extreme.

1) Terrorists:

They bomb buildings and kill people. They are also doing good.

Good for their survival.

We tend to judge them because their survival agendas goes against our own survival agendas.

You shouldn't judge them.
You should understand their intentions.

You usually label things because you don't understand them.
That's why you resort to name calling them with "idiots", "barbarians".

They are the way they are became of the intense survival conditions they grew up in.

You have to accept the validity of their worldview and where they come from, instead of resorting to blindly judge them.

In a nutshell, the terrorist groups have turned religious teachings into a dogmatic ideology.

They see that the west with their liberal policies as a threat to the holy teachings.

So to preserve the quality of their God given teachings, they go on a survival mission.

To bomb the world trade center.

You might think, afterall what is a suicide bomber caring for survival?

He is going to die anyway.

Not so fast.

After her dies he is going to the holy heaven where he always wanted to go. To escape the suffering of the body and to become one with God himself.

And infact that's exactly what happens.
He does escape the suffering of the body to become one with God himself.

To him, death of his physical body is not as important. He wants to preserve the will of his God's teachings.

*From his Pov he is changing the world for Good.**

He is helping the world which is going in wayward ways from god, come back to God.

He is on an ultimate mission to save his land and people.

That's exactly what motivates him to bomb buildings.

That's the point that most people miss.

They don't understand the intentions, rather judge them for it.

This is cruical.

Bin Laden was a force or good in the world, from His own limited perspective.

From your perspective he has done all this bad shit, only because your understanding of the world is higher than that of BL.

2) Saw the video of Taliban Terrorists chopping off the hand of a lady because she used nail polish.

My immediate knee jerk reaction was to judge them saying, what horrible barbarians, cruel evil people.

But they are just preserving the order of their society.

They truly believe that if women Start wearing nail polish and smiling, society will start collapsing.

This isn't a joke. They truly believe this.

I AM NOT JUSTIFYING THEIR BEHAVIOUR. RATHER UNDERSTAND WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM.

Solutions only come from understandings, not judgements.

So they disincentivised "bad girl" behaviour by chopping off her hand.

Sure they could have did something better but their current level of understanding of the world simply don't permit them to do that.

From their little level of evolution, they are doing good.
(Good for themselves).

They are loving her by chopping off her hand.

"Because what if some guy violently assaults her after she smiles.

So we saved her."

That will be their justifications.

So few people can identify the intentions of the perpetrators.

Everyone can easily identify with the victim.

Jordan Peterson makes a good point regarding this.

https://youtu.be/Vknhe2CbvmI

3) Hitler.

Everyone judges Hitler for why he is so cruel evil bastard.
Please note that the labels you used to describe him are just nothing more than empty name calling that shows how outraged you are.

Being outraged is fine, but it comes at a cost.

You cannot analyse clearly and will be subjected to even more biases.

What all Hitler did was to protect his race, from all those "evil" others.

He genuinely believed that it will make the world a better place.

But no the results backfired as he himself died a horrific death.

Because he had a very limited understanding of the world, and everything he did in the world was consistent from his level of understanding and consciousness.

He wasn't capable enough to do better.

I can site even more examples for it.

Next will obviously be Donald Trump.

πŸ˜‚

I love to hate and judge Trump.

I catch myself falling to this trap often.

Infact what Trump, does he genuinely thinks is going to change the world for good.

But in his view "the world" simply includes him, his family etc only.

He has a limited understand of the world.

That's all there is.

Just improve your understanding of the world and you will be able to truly evaluate what good for you and the world.

That's what my commitment of all about.

To help you understand the world and yourself, better.
Welcome everyone...here are some of the interesting reads..

Enjoy.
