Your society, state and family are experts in crafting a fake sense of safety which will keep you passive, and a feeling that all will be fine in the end.

Then they will put you into avenues which serves the lowest common denominator, and hence quite shitty.

You are alone in this world and you have to figure out everything yourself directly with first hand experiences. Take suggestions, diligently listen, and then carve out your own unique path.

Life is a chess board. Only you make the decisions and face the consequences.

You cannot cheat.

There is no such thing that is "complicated".

Either you find it difficult to explain or it's difficult to understand.

Most things are simple.

Doing simple things is not easy.

Doing simple things effortlessly is the sign of a true master.

If you are stuck in making a decision, choose the option that is more chaotic and more risky, since that is the route that is going to grow you the most.

Even if that decision ends up backfiring, the growth you have experienced in the process is going to be worth it.

Usually, on top of all these, more chaotic processes have higher rewards.

Always be cold and calculated for all possibilities and be prepared for all outcomes.

Keep track of your progress to not let it go to waste.

Death brings suffering and misery only to those who haven't yet died.

The one experiencing death is going through the most beautiful and blissful thing that you can ever experience. The ultimate liberation.

Most are content with knowledge because it provides an illusion of knowing.

Having played Chess early on, is a huge advantage when it comes to decisiveness, later in life.

It teaches you to take ACTION immediately after you THINK.

THINK & ACT.

All action of yours must be preceded with well thought out and clearly reasoned motivations. You need a thinking system that you could use to take action even if the position you are in offers you only incomplete information.

Every move must accomplish something or push for some agenda. Else you are letting the enemy take the drivers seat and his agenda to be in the forefront.

If you take too much time to think on one move, you lose on time. You have a very limited time in life as in chess. So when the time is up, you must make a move no matter what.

The best thing you learn from chess is to balance thought and action. You can't be biased towards one.

Dismiss the "take action bro"
and the "analysis paralysis" guy. Both come short to ruthless action preceded by a concentrated and calm thought process.

Big and long plans have more points of failure since they have to accommodate for ambiguity about the future.

Have short and quick plans that deliver instant results, however small they may be. It might not appear like a big result to anyone else around you. No one made one big stroke of genius and got successful.

Make small plans, act on it and deliver micro-results. Accumulate it over a decade and voila you have a virtuoso.

What is it that never fails to motivate you?

Something so simple yet so profound.

For me, it's a starry night.

A clear night sky is enough to lift me up from whatever I am struggling with. It just fills me to the brim with awe and astonishment.

Such is what I call a "source motivation".

The trick to never ending motivation is to find such things and link it with your daily life/work. This is quite tricky because you also need to take care of your finances and these two are not always mutually cohesive. So be strategic about it. In real life, you should do what is necessary, not what motivates you.

People like Leonardo Da vinci could produce genius level art because he has an infinite level of motivation and drive. He was always connected with his source motivation.

Contemplate and go back to your childhood memories to find your source-motivation(s). Just find one or two of them.

You must be so driven that reality itself is the biggest motivation for you. That is the goal.

There is no such thing as over preparation or over communication.

You can never do either of them enough.

More often than not, you are under prepared.
More often than not, you under communicate.

Do it effectively. Do it more.

Sadness and misery is the root of all addictions.

Whenever you are about to start a new endeavor, the first few ideas you have about the field are going to be trash.

You have to perfect your ideas only with action. Action trains the model.
