Just look at reality and evaluate for yourself how you can

1) maximize the Goodness and
2) minimise the Devilry & Suffering.

Do not bear any commitment to ideology or belief systems.

Doing that is only manufacturing suffering within yourself and others.

Try giving up on your belief systems, labels, and ideas you hold near and dear to you.

Nothing will collapse without your baggage supporting it.

If you are doing highly creative or intellectually demanding tasks,

you will always underestimate the amount of time you need to complete it.

You will end up needing more time than you initially allotted for it.

Just allow it to happen and work at a higher intensity.

The greatest executioners in every domain are not those who have most knowledge but those who can execute with extreme calm in a highly stressful situation.

Mastery over mind is preliminary to mastery over craft.

Just observe reality and deeply appreciate the lack of context.

You are just here.

You have to be disciplined and grounded yourself, but the actual learning process must be undisciplined, chaotic and dynamic as possible.

Do not be conservative in your learning curve.

Break and disrupt all existing models. Dig deeper.

Comparison with others will turn into misery only if you are too lazy to put in the work to bridge the gap between your state and their state.

People in general compare with others and never do work to reach their stage, wonder why they feel like shit.

A Tibetan Lama was speaking to a group of monks.

To make a point, pulled out a large jar, set it on the table in front of him, produced a few fist-sized rocks, and placed them, one by one, into the jar.

When no more rocks would fit inside, he asked:

“Is this jar full?”

Everyone said: “Yes.”

He reached under the table and pulled out a bucket of gravel, dumped some in and shook the jar, the gravel worked between the rocks.

Again, he asked: “Is this jar full?”

The monks were catching on.

“Probably not,” one answered.


“Good!” he replied and reached under the table and brought out a bucket of sand.

He dumped the sand into the jar until it filled all the crevices.

Once more he asked: “Is this jar full?”

“No!” the monks shouted. “Good!” he said and grabbed a pitcher of water
and poured it until the jar was filled to the brim.

Then he asked, “What is the point of this illustration?”

One young monk responded,

“The point is, no matter how full your day you can always fit some more things in.”

“No,” the speaker replied, “the point is that if you don’t put the big rocks
in first, you’ll never get them in at all.

Great things are rarely achieved after following an instruction manual which tells you exactly
"how to" do something.

"How to" manuals are only available for simple tasks which many people have done over and over again, and perfected by trial and error.

There exists no pre-existing book which tells you what exactly to do.

Embrace the chaos and authoritatively impose order.

No chaos, no growth.

Observe and act based on principles & guidelines.

Abandoning principles is not a wise move since chaos will get the better of you.

The hope of a serene life,
Sweet like syrup to the mind;
But evolution demands strife,
For serenity will keep us blind.

The best things are simple, but creating simple things is not easy

Your society, state and family are experts in crafting a fake sense of safety which will keep you passive, and a feeling that all will be fine in the end.

Then they will put you into avenues which serves the lowest common denominator, and hence quite shitty.

You are alone in this world and you have to figure out everything yourself directly with first hand experiences. Take suggestions, diligently listen, and then carve out your own unique path.

Life is a chess board. Only you make the decisions and face the consequences.

You cannot cheat.

There is no such thing that is "complicated".

Either you find it difficult to explain or it's difficult to understand.

Most things are simple.

Doing simple things is not easy.

Doing simple things effortlessly is the sign of a true master.

If you are stuck in making a decision, choose the option that is more chaotic and more risky, since that is the route that is going to grow you the most.

Even if that decision ends up backfiring, the growth you have experienced in the process is going to be worth it.

Usually, on top of all these, more chaotic processes have higher rewards.

Always be cold and calculated for all possibilities and be prepared for all outcomes.
