The Twist Museum | by BIG

A stunning architectural marvel in Norway, The Twist by BIG spans the Randselva River as both a bridge and an art museum. Located in Kistefos Sculpture Park, it twists 90° at its center, creating a dynamic exhibition space that seamlessly connects two forested riverbanks.

With 1,000m² of exhibition space, it doubles Kistefos’ indoor gallery area while showcasing works by artists like Anish Kapoor, Yayoi Kusama, and Olafur Eliasson. Clad in 40cm aluminum panels, its unique form resembles stacked books in motion.

A true blend of nature, infrastructure, and contemporary art!
