Types of architectural offices after graduation

1. The ones that use you as a draftsman or architectural modeler. They have more experienced architects and need you to finalize the projects only. You’ll most likely work with a team.

2. The ones where you are the only architect and will be responsible for most of the work. You’ll be responsible for your own personal development. Your boss will barely be around; he or she will give you assignments and consult.

3. The ones with a “successful” senior architect who will help you carve out your future career.

4. The ones with a “not successful” senior architect who will try to carve out your future.

5. The ones where you sit all day, most of the day, because there's no work. They’ll eventually shut down or let you go.

6. The ones where you’ll work on everything and not just your department; sometimes you’ll predominantly work on something other than architecture
