🌊 Dubai Museum of Art (DUMA) by Tadao Ando – A floating masterpiece rising on Dubai Creek! 🎨
At the edge of the saltwater inlet, this circular concrete icon blends desert, sea, and sky – evoking a pearl or graceful ship. White façade with tapering triangular apertures filters soft light, shifting from crisp day glow to sunset poetry in amber & rose.
Inside: Ando’s light mastery shines! Galleries wrap a central oculus on levels 1-2, curved walls choreographing shadow-play for contemplation. Five-story haven for modern/contemporary art, plus library & artist hubs – Dubai’s first official museum, by Al-Futtaim Group. Opens ~2028!

Renowned architect Frank Gehry has passed away at the age of 96.
A visionary figure in contemporary architecture, Gehry created some of the world’s most celebrated cultural landmarks and pioneered innovative parametric design approaches that reshaped modern practice.
