parametric.architecture Emerging from the landscape a spiral-shaped pavilion, BIG nears completion of the extension for the famous Swiss watchmaker, Audemars Piquet to their headquarters in Le Brassus in Switzerland.

It was formed around the programmatic requirements that needed for these spaces to be connected, in one large space. The pavilion will consist of glazed galleries and event spaces that follow up to a workshop area.

Made from steel clad in brass, the structure will allow sunlight to penetrate and providing splendid views of the area. Structural glasses supporting the roof flows along the whole building. In addition to the gallery and event spaces, there is a guest house located below the ground.

Modscape’s Cliff Suspended House!

Could you ever see yourself living in a house suspended above the ocean with only the side of a cliff for support?

So instead of building their peace of architecture on top of the parcel, they decided to use the side of the cliff to create their masterpiece.
