Most incredible time at Superhuman in Stockholm, hosted by Ash Pournouri, former manager of Avicii and behind the Brilliant Minds community which gathers a super interesting group yearly in Stockholm every June. Superhuman was cohosted together with Bryan Johnson, the “World’s Healthiest Human”.

Superhuman is the leading community globally focused on biohacking and longevity. I’m very new to this field but super interested and fascinated.

Later in the evening, had a fun night out with Bryan Johnson at one of the coolest nightclubs in town called “Wall”.

We spoke about his recent collaboration with Balaji Srinivasen on Network States, which I thought was super cool, and was seeing how I could help support the cause.

Looking forward to hosting a curated 200 person Unit Network Conference after Brilliant Minds and Superhuman next year. As well as several other cities globally.

Was my first time to Stockholm(second visit to Sweden), loved it so much, definitely one of my favourite city in the world.

Grateful for the invite from Ashiesh, who is one of the biggest exporters of Chinese electric cars globally. Working closely with him to roll out Unit Network with the support of major governments globally!

So happy to bump into long time friend Simon Telian at the Superhuman afterparty in Stockholm. He happened to be in town for a wedding.

Quite serendipitous as he had invited me countless times to Stockholm but hadn’t taken him up on the offer and it was my first time there. We went the next day for some Swedish meatballs which was tasty.

We met 7 years ago in 2018, when he was based in Cape Town, he wrote to me on Telegram to ask if he could join our Afrikaburn camp.

He liked that we had many cool DJs, a tea lounge and that we were entrepreneurial and innovators.

The Afrikaburn camp was epic, organised with my friends Ethereum pioneer Marek and early Bitcoin miner Garrett. We brought together about 80 friends who didn’t know each other from around the world.

Joined by Gavin Wood who created Ethereum /Polkadot, Peter Noszek who built crypto conference Token2049, Matt Siegel of leading festival Envision and countless others.

Invited Pavel of Telegram too, who was going to join our Afrikaburn camp, though unfortunately he had to cancel last minute as Russia had banned the messaging app 2 days prior with a wild DDOS attack.

I helped to set up proxy servers from the desert to support in bypassing this ban. Pavel paid me in Bitcoin to cover the server costs. Also, I connected him to Werner Vogels(CTO of Amazon) who unfortunately couldn’t help much as he said it was risky for his staff.

So Simon was new to crypto, met lots of interesting crypto people at our camp, got into it and fast forward a few years, took the first blockchain company public in Europe, on the Frankfurt stock exchange, “Advanced Blockchain” which grew to about an €80m market cap.

He recently left the firm he built as CEO, “Advanced Blockchain”, and we discussed working closely on Unit Network in building the global decentralised stock exchange for the world. We had been meaning to set up a call for weeks, so this discussion was perfect!

Simon is one of two advisors for blockchain to the Japanese government which is amazing!

Would be fun to see how we could roll out the token economy across Japan. Love this country too, and go skiing in Niseko there yearly. Come join!

Fun afternoon bike ride with my friend Oliver Tree, who is leading Unit Network with creative strategic direction and making lots of viral videos for the cause.

We cycled past Wall Street to check out the Circle IPO, which grew to a market cap/valuation of $28B almost immediately.

Huge congrats to the CEO Jeremy Allaire for the countless years of hard work leading up to this success.

I recently got approached by an investment bank to create a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange for Unit Network. Has always been a dream to ring the opening bell and take a company public. Let’s see!

Especially since Unit Network aspires to be the global stock exchange/market for the world.

Though, maybe Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange will be seen as legacy infrastructure like Newspapers in comparison.
