Action Week: Day 3 πͺ Let's do this!
#EmailMPDay π© Our voices have power - Email your Federal MP and express your concerns loud and clear! Send us a DM or tag us in your stories and posts. Let's unite across the country and stand together!
Three founding members of the Aligned Council of Australia (one of the bring us!) have made it easy for you to write to your local member of parliament. Theyβve developed a system that helps you write your letter, in your own words but using prompts and suggestions on what you might say in your email or letter to your local MP. We also recommend visiting and phoning your MP and have put all of these things in the order of effectiveness. But why not do them all! Click here to begin.
The Aligned Council of Australia has something everyone can get involved in each day of this 'Action Week!

It is a sad day for Democracy as the Digital ID passed today.
Thank you to everyone who shared and actioned on the push-back campaign, we reached over 10K views - that's pretty impressive sharing.
We currently have 87 MPs in Parliament that will only understand what they have passed through their own 'lived experience'.
It really is time for Australia to regain its independance and replace those 87 MPs with MP's that can adequately represent their country.

Have Your Say on Social Media Usage π£
The NSW government is currently seeking public feedback on the idea of banning social media for kids and potentially criminalising its use, following in the footsteps of the UK.
This is being promoted under the guise of "safety," but what are the true implications of such policies? The reality is that banning social media could prevent children from accessing a broader spectrum of informationβinformation that might challenge the indoctrination happening in schools.
Social media is one of the few platforms where alternative viewpoints can be found, and removing that access could further restrict our kids' exposure to varied ideas.
Have your say! Let the government know that while we all care about our children's safety, we must also protect their right to information. Visit this link to share your thoughts.
