Today around 20 strong, beautiful trail blazing women went to observe the exhibition of Suffragets, ladies who fought for equal rights and the right to vote and be heard. The Australian Federal police took away our civil rights as we had been identified as "protesters". We had no political or protesting paraphernalia on any kind on us and were advised to leave or we would be arrested for trespass. Yes we had been protesting, many of us have been attending protests for months, but because the establishment doesn't like what we are protesting about, certain rights have been taken away from us and we have been permanently labeled.
