*Reading this book has turned into challenge ( it’s getting boring )

Albertine Sarrazin wrote this book while she was in prison.
It is about a person called Anne. Anne used to work as a sex worker before prison, and she had relationships with women in prison. She breaks her ankle bone while breaking out prison, the word astragal stands for bone ankle. Anne eventually escaped, and a man called Julien found her, but she wasn’t free.
Throughout the story she’s searching for her freedom."My new freedom imprisons me and paralyses me..."

Not to mention she was only 19 years old

I was so hyped for the book Ive downloaded about sadomasochism and all it was saying basically was :
“homosexuality is a disease, the same as zoophilia, and the root of sadomasochism is bisexuality”

“We’re not fucking important We’re just a crap idea” not every anti-hero has to be charming or moral
Actually you have to have watched this film blindly to think it had no purpose or meaning
This is how people are living, getting crushed under systemic oppression
Even among those who are oppressed there are ones who abuse one another

"I know. I know you told me. And... I'm not here yet.! I'm still wet. What did she mean? Why not me brother? Will it be quiet now? Yeah? Are we going?"— "at birth, when you cut the umbilical cord.. what happens if it was never cut? It'd be embarrassing wouldn't it? Especially at my age"

When he got beaten and crawled back to Sandra’s house just to witness another man abusing Louise and Sophie it was like a spark to spit all this out

+ he’s not a good person
Being abused/having mental issues doesn’t make you a good person or give you the right to hurt other people

Sometimes we need to offer awful characters

Never ending cycle of wanting to run away from her but also carrying her photos in my wallet
