Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) are glad to invite all PhD students to join the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition 2025 which is now open until 11 April 2025 for registration 3MT Competition at Faculty Level. 1. Open to all active PhD students only
2. Compulsory to all current DRS Jom Sambung PhD and Vice Chancellor Scholarship Recipient.
3. Those students who have won at the National Level, are eligible to participate in the 3MT Competition at UMPSA Level but with a different topic
4. Training workshop will be given to all students who have been shortlisted by the faculty at the faculty level.
5. Certificate of participation will be given to all participants who are qualified for 3MT

UMPSA 3MT 2025: Showcasing Brilliant Minds in Just Three Minutes
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition 2025 was successfully held on 14 May 2025 (Wednesday) at the Banquet Hall, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Gambang Campus. This intellectually stimulating event featured 15 talented Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students competing in two categories: Sciences, Technology & Engineering and Social Sciences.
๐Congratulations to all winners and participants for their impressive presentations and contributions towards making the 3MT Competition 2025 a success. The event highlighted the depth and diversity of research being undertaken by UMPSAโs doctoral candidates and served as a valuable opportunity to foster academic excellence and public engagement.๐ฏ
