At the end of Ramadan, we all think:
"If only I had done more!"

So imagine the regret at the end of our lives.

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِى ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورً۬ا

And the Messenger (ﷺ) will say, "O my Lord! Indeed, my people have taken this Qur'an as (a thing) abandoned (i.e., avoiding it, not listening to or understanding it, not living by it, or prefering something else over it.

[Surah al Furqaan : 30]

how strange is man, who persistently runs away from his Rabb's decree as if he can find anything better than it.

اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ أَهْلَ غَزَّةَ نَصْرًا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ يُغْنِيهِمْ عَنْ نَصْرٍ مِنْ سِواكَ ،

Ya Allāh, grant victory to the people of Gaza with a victory from Yourself that makes them not need victory from anyone else.

اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ شُهَداءَهُمْ وَاشْفِ جَرْحاهُمْ وَارْبُطْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْزِلِ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ ،

Ya Allāh, accept their martyrs, heal their wounded, strengthen their hearts, and bestow tranquility upon them

اللَّهُمَّ أَرِنا فِي الْيَهُودِ الْمُحْتَلِّينَ عَجائِبَ قُدْرَتِكَ وَفَجْأَةَ نِقْمَتِكَ وَجَمِيعَ سَخَطِكَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ .

Ya Allāh, show us through the occupying Jews the wonders of Your power, the suddenness of Your wrath, and the fullness of Your anger. Ya Allāh, defeat them and shake them.

اللهم إنَّا لا نملك لِـ غزة إلَّا الدعاء ؛ يا ربِّ لا ترُدَّ لنا دُعاء ولا تُخَيِّب لنا رجاء وأنت أرحمُ الراحمين

Ya Allāh , we have nothing for Gaza except prayers. Ya Rabb, do not reject our prayers, and do not disappoint our hopes, for You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

آمين يا رب

O soul, it is but days’ worth of patience
whose period is as long as a dream
O soul, give up the worldly life
and leave it, because [real] life is ahead

— Imām Al-Shāfi’ī رحمه الله [Captured Thoughts by Imām Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله pg. 942]

It weighs heavily on the believer to mourn the people of Islam, while being unable to ward off what has befallen them.

His pain is alleviated by his knowledge that the judgment belongs to Allāh, and He is All-Aware of His servants.

His wrath cannot be averted from the wrongdoing people, and the whip of His wrath befalls by His wisdom, Glory be to Him. He has an appointed time for it.

So he supplicates for relief for the afflicted, and strives with what he is capable of to defend the stricken.

Today is the best Jumm'uah of the entire year, and the actions on this day are better than the actions in the rest of the Jumm'uahs throughout the whole year.

So work vigilantly with this day, and try your best to make sure your intention is sincere following the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

"اللَّهمَّ أنْجِ المستضعفين من المؤمنين"

'Ya Allāh, grant salvation to the oppressed among the believers.'

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

A reminder to myself first and to anyone who reads this: Make the most of the day of 'Arafah and turn off any distractions like social media, chatting/insta etc.

Our Rabb is the Most Merciful and the Most Loving. If there's one day to ask for forgiveness and your deepest wants/wishes its the day of 'Arafah. Isolate yourself and talk and pour your heart out to your Rabb.

Day of 'Arafah is like no other day. Increase your efforts like its your last day of 'Arafah in your life.

If you feel like you may have slacked these last couple of days, prove yourself in this day. Wallahi, wallahi this day is the day that should not go to waste.

May Allaah make us successful.

On the day of 'Arafah don't forget to pray for your parents, siblings, family, friends, teachers, scholars, every muslims, the oppressed Muslims all over the world and for the uprightness of the rulers.

may Allâh accept all our heartfelt duas. Aameen ya Rabb

أنت محروم إن كان دعاؤك في يوم عرفة مقتصرًا على الدنيا ولا حظ للآخرة فيه.

You are deprived if your supplication on the Day of Arafat is confined to this world and the Akhirah has no share in it.

Today is the day of being hopeful, today is the day to ask, we don't have to search for this day like we searched for the laylatul Qadr, we are well aware of it, so put in all your best effort, push yourself a little more harder, don't lose hope, if you have got this day, Alhamdulillah you can do alot, there so many things you wanted to ask, so many things you wanted to seek forgiveness for, here's your moment, this is day, that all that burden lift away from you, cry infront of Allah as much as you want, seize the day and these moments,
Let's do it together, let's sacrifice all that which displeases Allah.

In today’s shameless and attention-seeking society, where women’s clothes are becoming more revealing, a woman who doesn’t feel the need to show her skin and beauty to strange men for attention, is truly gifted by Allaah.

If Allaah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you and He will forgive you.
