One exam can literally help you attain all the needs. Crazy!

UPSC CSE

Not a motivation just in general speaking.
Look at this type of questions.

It is purely luck based and not based on reason.

Answer for this is b. There are 3 possibilities to get this. Either you know or just guess 1 or 2, 2 or 3, 1 or 3 and boom in any case you will get right answer.

It doesn't test your knowledge. One without even reading could mark it right and not based on logic but pure luck. There are many such questions.
Channel name was changed to «Umed - UPSC I RBI I IRDAI I NABARD I IFSCA I CDS I NDA I NPS I»
Madhabi Puri was 1st woman & also the 1st from private sector to get elected as chairman of SEBI.

Since SEBI's existence, her tenure has been most controversial and I doubt henceforth, gov will select any pvt person for the top post in any regulatory bodies.

RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, IFSCA all have IAS officer as their current chairman.

PFRDA chairman's tenure is about to end in May and I feel it will be again filled with an IAS.

Goverment needs people who are not rebellious.
RBI released final cutoff marks for grade B and its lowest in last 7 years.

Many students are complaining that they did not get marks what they deserved in interview. Few of them got as low as 10 marks out of 75 despite scoring good in phase II. It's like scoring less than 50 in UPSC interview which is very very rare.

Board give these kind of marks only and only if they don't want you in the organisation. The reasons for it can be explained only by the selection committee and no body else.

As a student you can only cope.
-You work very hard for phase 1 and 2.
-Somehow you clear both.
-You clear all the basic concepts, mug up current affairs, for the interview.
-Your interview goes good but you get just 10 marks out of 75.
-You are out of the final list by 1 or 2 mark.

I would say it's not your fault, it's just your bad luck.

The competition that we have in India is unrealistic and doesn't exist anywhere in the world.

So go easy on yourself, you are more capable than this.
Other than CSE few other good jobs will be coming in next 4-5 months.

Notification expected dates

PFRDA: Apr-May
RBI: May-June
NABARD: June-July
IRDAI: July-Aug

Very less scope for SEBI & IFSCA to happen this year.

Probably the above are highest paying gov jobs (30+ lacs CTC). Even SSC CGl notification will come in April.

So gear up boys & gals in case you you mess up CSE prelims 😬
IFSCA might also recruit this year, one of the twitter mutuals (ankit) did rti for that.
Entry level jobs in LIC are assistant and AAO.

Starting Gross salary p/m in Rs.
Assistant: 65000+
AAO: 115000+

In pvt sector median salary hovers around 20-30k p/m for entry level workers except for elite MNCs, top IIT/IIM grads.

Beyond salary LIC offers job security+work life balance+other perks. At entry level government jobs make a strong deal for most.

Most of you in this channel are CSE aspirants who might not even think beyond CSE especially if you are giving 1st or 2nd attempt.

But I would say after 1 or 2 year, prepare with a job and the jobs like lic are good. Even if you don't clear CSE, with work experience you could do MBA or switch to some excellent firms which will pay you good in long term.
Due to normalisation there has been huge marks difference for the selected and not selected in CGL 2024.

Look at the difference column. How can someone get 96 extra marks over raw marks.

Normalisation is a scam. All the exams must be conducted in one shift only like grade b, pcs prelims, etc.

ECGC Pay revision was done last month and its salary is on par with LIC now.

Today ECGC PO final result came. In hand will be more than 1 lakh + perks
In 2024 CSE prelims, 8 questions worth 16 marks came directly from class 11 & 12th geography ncert.

UPSC did not even modify the statements, instead just copy pasted.

Before reading anything, read ncert first for geography & history. ROI is very high.
