I am not sure but from what I know and heard rom distance (podcasts and personal encounter) they were sister companies started as a same company but started diverging to iCog ACC ( Focusing on educating developers) and iCog labs ( working on educating future AI researchers and working on projects based on OpenCog and hyperon, dreaming to achieve singularity...)

Their working style is very different now. and I think iCog Labs is very competitive and research intensive company. while gheero(formerly iCog ACC) is a very modern and community based training local company.

I believe they both reflect their leaders behavior and personal preferences. 😄

a woman led company, more creative and modern community based (Bethelhem Dessie🤗)

while iCoglabs feel intense, research baseed and focused as its lead by Man(Getnet😋)

but this is what I have seen from far not sure what the difference really is, this is personal thought....
