🇺🇦Ukrainian illustrator Serhii Maidukov has created series of images for publication in Financial Times, dedicated to the first week of full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation to Ukraine.

The artist represented the Harbour Bridge and shooted cars, Ukrainian military, anti-tank obstacles and his daughter sleeping under sounds of explosions
😥The only thing that Russia is able to bring into the lives of Ukrainians is desolation.

We must stop the Russian aggression together!
⚡️Martial law and general mobilization were extended in Ukraine for 90 days, until August 23.
🏚 In Bucha district, a modular town is being built for those who lost their homes as a result of hostilities, said Mykola Lyashenko, head of the Buchanska district military administration.

These modular houses were donated by the Polish government. There are bathrooms, kitchens, living quarters and children's rooms. Now they are assembling houses and connecting communications to 4 modules, each of which has 22 rooms.
⚡️Verkhovna Rada banned medicines from Russia and Belarus, and also canceled various agreements with the CIS.

Among them are the denunciation of the agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the avoidance of double taxation, the agreement “on perpetuating the memory of the courage and heroism of the peoples of the CIS in the Great Patriotic War”, on a joint agricultural market and the fight against illegal migration.
During the Asia-Pacific trade ministers' summit in Bangkok, delegates from Japan, the United States, and three other countries defiantly left the hall as the protest against Russia's invasion of Ukraine when Russia's economic development minister began to talk.
❗️Russians are running out of precision-guided missiles, says military expert Vladislav Seleznev.

Russian occupiers stepped up their missile strikes but began to use obsolete missiles. This indicates that the invaders are running out of high-precision missiles.

In addition, the expert is sure that the Kremlin clearly understands the failure of the invasion of Ukraine. Putin is angry with his generals and gradually deprives them of their positions.
⚡️President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the establishment of the honorary insignia "Savior City", and Polish Rzeszow was the first to be awarded this title.
💪 Germany will provide Ukraine with lethal weapons, as well as money for the purchase of necessary artillery ammunition and interception equipment.

The corresponding decision has already been made, said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

⚡️Andrzej Duda said that for all the destruction of cities and villages in Ukraine, committed by the Russian occupying army, it is Russia that must pay for the restoration of the country:

In the coming days, I will be talking about this with world leaders during the Davos summit. But remember that Ukraine must be restored primarily at the expense of the aggressor. These are the demands of historical justice. At the expense of the Russian Federation."

The President of Poland pointed to the need to freeze Russian foreign exchange reserves in Western banks.

It was Russia that destroyed Ukraine, and Russia must pay for it
🇺🇦🇵🇱Our people are brothers. Sisters are our countries.” The main thing from Zelensky's speech during his joint participation with Andrzej Duda in a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada:

🔻 Without realizing it, on February 24, Russia destroyed yet another thing. This is a kind of "repository" of past contradictions between Ukraine and Poland. They are no more left.

🔻 Our parliaments, our governments, and our peoples as a whole understand each other like never before. And it doesn’t matter if it’s Cyrillic or Latin, it doesn’t matter how we write “will” and “independence”. It is important that Ukrainians and Poles call these things that way. And still ready to defend them.

🔻 Almost all of our cities are sister cities of Poland. Our peoples are also brothers. Sisters are our countries. We are relatives. And between us, there should be no borders and barriers.

🔻 We have agreed to implement this in an appropriate bilateral agreement in the near future. First, about the general border and customs control, and then the only conditional border, when Ukraine becomes a member of the EU.

🔻 Separately, I thank the Sejm of Poland for the recently adopted law on assistance to citizens of Ukraine. This is a big step, a big gesture of a big soul, which only a friend of Ukraine is capable of. I believe that in the near future we should submit a similar mirror bill to the Verkhovna Rada.

🔻 I believe that soon Ukrainians and Poles will gather at one big table to share bread. Share the most important feeling - the feeling of peace. Share the taste of victory. And raise a toast to your freedom and ours.

🔻 Without a free Ukraine, there can be no free Poland. I know that historians often argue about who first said who was the author of this phrase. We have resolved this dispute - this is the will of the Ukrainian and Polish peoples.'

✈️ Due to a lack of spare parts, Aeroflot may start dismantling aircraft in three months, – Bloomberg

According to the publication, Aeroflot's fleet includes more than 350 aircraft, most of them are Airbus and Boeing.

Due to the sanctions, the company will soon face a shortage of spare parts. IBA analysts believe that air carriers will have enough spare parts for 3 months, after which they will probably begin to dismantle the aircraft.
🔺The invaders were afraid to die from the wrath of peaceful Ukrainians. They understood that they were not welcome, said a retired junior Russian army officer who participated in the occupation of Kherson.

When we were driving towards Kherson and passing the village, a man with a whip jumped out to our column and cursed us. He almost crawled out to our tank where we were sitting. His eyes were wet with tears. I won't forget it. In general, when we saw the locals, we tensed up. Some of them hid weapons under their clothes, came up and shot at us," the occupant recalls.
😡 Putin's goal is not only a food crisis but also a migration crisis, former German ambassador to Moscow Rüdiger von Fritsch told Tagesspiegel:

"Putin's calculation is that after the disruption of grain supplies, starving people will flee these regions and try to get to Europe – like millions of Syrians who fled the horrors of war.

With a new wave of refugees, Putin wants to destabilize Europe and put political pressure on Western governments to abandon their hard line on Russia. This is a new "hybrid war," Rüdiger said.

Von Fritsch does not believe in the imminent end of the war on the territory of Ukraine, since now Putin is faced with the question of maintaining his power.

“Therefore, the likelihood of the continuation and escalation of the war is high,” said von Fritsch.
