📚 On March 27th at 7:30 p.m. Steffen Dobbert will read from his book "Understanding Ukraine", which was published in September 2022 in Kultur: Haus Dacheröden. He takes the audience on a journey through the eventful history of a country in the crossroads.
🎼 The reading will be accompanied by Ukrainian folk songs, sung by Nataliia Pushniak.
💬 After the reading, Steffen Dobbert will discuss the topics addressed in the book together with Ilona Mamiyeva (Association of Ukrainian Compatriots in Thuringia e.V.) and Valeriia Ziziukina (scholarship holder of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation e.V. from Ukraine). The discussion will be moderated by Tim Segler (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V.).

The aim of the demonstration is to show that the Russian aggression in Ukraine is a war against civilians and children. For the past 14 months, missile attacks have been taking place daily across the country, far from the front line.
We will remember the people who have lost their lives because of the war,
reminding people of the importance of supporting Ukraine, and provide an opportunity to collect donations to send to support children who have remained in Ukraine and need help.
Come and support the action with your presence, at least for a short time 🕰.
