Unfortunately, war continues in Ukraine, while in Germany the first somewhat"normal" Christmas season in years took place. The "Soli Dance" doesn't want to and can't ignore these circumstances.
All artists donate their fees for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
Therefore, you can choose the soli-options 5€ / 7€ / 9€ for the entrance fee. There will also be a donation box for aid in Ukraine.

Die Initiative „Ukrainer in Jena“ und der Verein "Ukrainische Landsleute in Thüringen" e.V., mit Dankbarkeit für die Möglichkeiten für Geflüchtete, laden alle Interessierten zu einer Kundgebung am Freitag, 24. Februar von 17 bis 19 Uhr auf den Holzmarkt ein.
The initiative "Ukrainians in Jena" and the Union "Ukrainian compatriots in Thuringia" e.V., with gratitude for the opportunities for refugees, invite all interested parties to a rally on Friday, February 24 from 17 to 19 on the Holzmarkt.

📚 On March 27th at 7:30 p.m. Steffen Dobbert will read from his book "Understanding Ukraine", which was published in September 2022 in Kultur: Haus Dacheröden. He takes the audience on a journey through the eventful history of a country in the crossroads.
🎼 The reading will be accompanied by Ukrainian folk songs, sung by Nataliia Pushniak.
💬 After the reading, Steffen Dobbert will discuss the topics addressed in the book together with Ilona Mamiyeva (Association of Ukrainian Compatriots in Thuringia e.V.) and Valeriia Ziziukina (scholarship holder of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation e.V. from Ukraine). The discussion will be moderated by Tim Segler (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V.).

According to official statistics, the war has already claimed the lives of 467 Ukrainian children. The aim of the demonstration is to show that the Russian aggression in Ukraine is a war against civilians and children. For the past 14 months, missile attacks have been taking place daily across the country, far from the front line.
We will remember the people who have lost their lives because of the war,
reminding people of the importance of supporting Ukraine, and provide an opportunity to collect donations to send to support children who have remained in Ukraine and need help.
Come and support the action with your presence, at least for a short time 🕰.
