The Bible says, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong’”(Joel 3:10), but most Christians say, “I can’t do this”. This is exactly how the weak behave -they despise God’s promises, even though He has made them available to everyone. As a result, they live a life that does not glorify God. 

Paul also said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). This means that if we choose to, we can be strong, but only in the Lord. Strength does not come from us but from God, and He expects us to make full use of it. 

So, as we continue with the Fast of Zacharias, choose to be strong. Be mindful of what you say and refrain from despising God's promises.
