I had the opportunity to help design and craft a love letter to a customer's Irish heritage recently. We initially discussed hardware, and came to the conclusion that all of it could have a clover, including a shamrock with his Patron St. Christopher. After that, we discussed the beads, and I suggested Connemara Marble, which has a beautiful green hue, and is only found in Ireland. We bounced around a few options for the Our Father beads when I came across ANOTHER stone only found in Ireland, Kilkenny Marble. As my customer was already leaning toward black beads like onyx, it was a no-brainer. Finishing it all off with a striking Hunter Green microcord, this rosary is a lovely heirloom, representing some of the finest the Emerald Isle had to offer.
