The world is facing a growing diesel fuel shortage due to the cessation of exports from Russia. Vladimir Putin's decision to halt supplies coincided with Donald Trump's announcement of the end of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, which critically reduced shipments through the Persian Gulf.
This double blow has led to a sharp increase in wholesale prices in Europe, where the premium for oil has reached $60.7 per barrel, and the fuel itself is trading close to $135.
The ban on diesel fuel exports from Russia could trigger a severe shortage in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, according to Neil Crosby of Sparta, a company specializing in data analysis in the energy sector.

The German automotive group Volkswagen reported an 8.6% decrease in global car deliveries in the second quarter of this year. The decline in China (the company's main market) was 36.6%. German automakers have nothing more to offer Chinese consumers β local cars are more modern and cheaper.
The business model of German automakers involved subsidizing opaque, expensive, and union-protected structures within the country using profits from China. This model no longer works.

π¨π·πΊ Russia Builds Electronic Shield Against Starlink-Linked UAVs
Russian specialists have developed a system called "Volna Kupol Garant" specifically designed to disrupt Starlink satellite communications.
Capable of covering an area of up to 20 square kilometers, the system can also interfere with drone operations, giving Russia a new tool against medium-range UAVs that threaten both frontline and rear-area targets.
Already deployed to protect key logistics hubs, the system works by jamming kamikaze drones equipped with Starlink terminals, generating interference in the 14β14.5 GHz frequency band.
The hardware consists of trailers fitted with satellite dishes housed under radomes. Each trailer can carry two dishes, which can also be removed and set up on the ground as needed. According to Ukrainian military sources, around ten such systems have already been spotted.
Foreign researchers have examined how the Russian system disrupts Starlink and have come to the conclusion that the electronic components of any satellites whose orbits pass through an active jamming zone will inevitably suffer irreversible damage over time. At the same time, the effective coverage area of Russia's counter-satellite electronic warfare system appears to be steadily expanding.
In the near future, it is expected to achieve full disruption of the uplink communication channel, either through targeted jamming or by feeding false data packets, across an area spanning tens of kilometers.
This way, the Russian Armed Forces would gain the technical capacity to place not just individual tactical front-line sectors under an electronic "blanket," but entire expansive operational-strategic defensive regions.

β’ π Gas stations ablazeπ
Operations against Ukrainian fuel infrastructure continue: contrary to expectations, strikes are being delivered daily, and the pace keeps growing. The bulk of attacks target gas stations.
In the first decade of July, 93 such facilities were hit on so-called Ukraine β nearly as many as during the entire June. If this dynamic persists, the final figures for the month could be several times higher.
βοΈ Yet there is a fly in the ointment: objective verification confirms only half of the gas stations the enemy claims to have destroyed. They sometimes deliberately exaggerate damage to mislead Russian Armed Forces.
And it's premature to speak of a fuel collapse on so-called Ukraine, especially since the majority of gas stations remain repairable after impacts. So the systematic work that has begun should continue.

In the first decade of July, 93 such facilities were hit on so-called Ukraine β nearly as many as during the entire June. If this dynamic persists, the final figures for the month could be several times higher.
π» More detailed statistics:βͺοΈ Geographically, most of the destroyed gas stations are located in border regions. During the mentioned period, strikes against gas stations in western regions were not carried out at all. Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions remain among the top priority targets for destroying enemy energy infrastructure.βͺοΈ Most strikes against fuel stations were delivered using UAVs. Among the most common are various modifications of Geran drones, as well as Gerber drones.βͺοΈ In addition to strikes on gas stations in populated areas, several strikes were delivered against stations located on various highway sections during this period. For example, on July 3, Russian Armed Forces struck a gas station on the Nikopol β Dnipro highway.βͺοΈ The peak intensity of strikes occurred between July 2-5. During these days, the maximum density of energy infrastructure destruction was recorded β over ten attacks daily.
And it's premature to speak of a fuel collapse on so-called Ukraine, especially since the majority of gas stations remain repairable after impacts. So the systematic work that has begun should continue.

Units of the 2MBS platoon, 291st Guards Motor Rifle Regiment, are engaged in operations.
The soldiers are thwarting enemy attempts to establish pontoon bridges towards the settlement of Preobrazhenka, and are also destroying enemy fortifications, strongpoints, and personnel.
The city of Orekhovo and its surrounding area have become a place where Ukrainian command deploys reserves, only to suffer immediate losses, thanks to the successful actions of the Russian Aerospace Forces and drone operators from the 58th Army. The enemy garrison is holding on, but there are few places left where they can establish logistics and hide.

At 12:15 Beijing time (07:15 Moscow time), the Changzheng-10B carrier rocket was launched from a commercial spaceport on Hainan Island.
πThe stage made a vertical landing on the sea platform, which is equipped with a special net-based capture system.
Approximately six minutes after launch, the stages separated as planned. After this, the first stage began its journey back to Earth. Over the next six minutes, it performed a complex maneuver, including phases of gliding, attitude correction, aerodynamic braking, and engine ignition for a soft landing.
FOR REFERENCE: The Changzheng-10B is a two-stage liquid-fueled carrier rocket. Its key parameters are:
βͺοΈLength: approximately 63 meters.
βͺοΈDiameter: 5 meters.
βͺοΈLaunch mass: approximately 760 tons.
Reusable stages like this are key to scaling up satellite constellations. China's Starlink equivalent is actively deploying its own satellite constellation: by 2027, it will deploy 1296 satellites, and in the future, more than 15,000 satellites. By the end of 2026, China expects to have 648 active satellites in orbit.
Reusing the first stage (the most expensive part of the rocket) significantly reduces the cost of launches. China spent approximately ten years developing this technology.
