Vance was sent to fail
I am not a fan of Vance. I think he is a complete fraud. His wife literally led the push for transgender child "therapies" without parental consent in California. Spouses rarely deviate too far from one another culturally and/or politically. I also do not trust the Tech Bros who backed him.
All that said, Vance was set up to fail in Pakistan. I do not believe Israel and the US are remotely interested in peace. They simply needed time to replenish interceptors. Sending Vance to negotiate a ceasefire was all about making him look like a fool to elevate Rubio for 2028.
This entire administration is a pathetic, anti-American joke. It is entirely designed to elevate the Jewish state. Now, we will reenter Netanyahu's hostilities and the few remaining Trump supporters will cheer on a war, claiming Iran rejected a peace deal. The reality is far different. Iran never changed its stated position for peace. We did.

Australia has never been more vulnerable to an energy crisis - ABC writes. Then 3 days later you have a major fire reported at Viva Energy refinery in Australia. It's only one of only two operational refineries in Australia, which processes roughly 120,000 barrels of oil per day.
Well, well, well. What a coincidence.
The last major fire at a refinery in Australia was the Longford Gas Plant Explosion (1998) and the Port Stanvac Refinery Fire (1999). So 26-27 years ago.
This one has an interested timing don't you think?
