hole #11, White Dogwood. the 11th hole is a 520 yard par 4 (not a typo), it historically plays as the 2nd most difficult hole in relation to par. a huge tee shot is required to even have a look at the green in regulation, less than ideal tee shots lead to players intentionally hitting second shots to the right of the green in order to avoid the pond. a birdie on #11 is a special deal and is good for 1.5 strokes gained on the field β³οΈ
hole #12, Golden Bell. the most iconic hole on the course, the 155 yard par 3 12th is a chip shot 8 or 9 iron most days. picking the correct the club is very tricky as the winds are hidden from the tee due to the trees & natural topography. players would love to make a birdie here but thatβs much easier said than done, historically this short par 3 plays as the 4th most difficult hole at Augusta National β³οΈ

hole #13, Azalea. the 545 yard par 5 is a dogleg left that forces players to hit their drives through a fairly narrow shoot. tee shots that find the fairway will typically land on a severe slope where the ball will be well above their feet (for RH players). the green is guarded by a creek short & penal bunkers long and left. players need a birdie here β³οΈ

hole #18, Holly. the finishing hole at Augusta National is a 465 yard slight dogleg right par 4 that plays uphill the whole way. the preferred shot shape off the tee shot is something that bends right, two well placed bunkers are set to catch drives that fly too straight. the green is very deep front to back but narrow side to side, again distance control is a necessity. one of the most iconic 18th holes in all of major championship golf β³οΈ
