“The Legislative Assembly of El Salvador was democratically elected to advance the interests and policies of its constituents. The decision to make constitutional changes is theirs. It is theirs to decide how their country should be governed.
We reject the comparison of El Salvador's democratically based and constitutionally sound legislative process with illegitimate dictatorial regimes elsewhere in our region.”

Chavismo dissident lawyer María Alejandra Díaz breaks silence and demands a safe conduct
Chavismo dissident lawyer María Alejandra Díaz broke her silence and admitted this Tuesday that she has been in asylum since last January at the Colombian Embassy in Venezuela due to "persecution" against her.
In a statement shared on her social media, she explained that she requested asylum at the Colombian embassy residence on January 11 and was verbally notified two days later that it was granted.
She said she was "asked to keep silent" about her situation and not to comment on internal politics. "I have fully complied with my word until today, as conditions have changed following the publication of the UN report on the pattern of persecution against me that was detected," Díaz stated.

🖥 Benz also stated that the NDI launched the “Design 4 Democracy” coalition less than a month after Jair Bolsonaro’s victory in the 2018 presidential election. According to him, the initiative aimed to “cover up the CIA’s actions” and began accusing the Brazilian internet of having contributed to the election outcome.🌐 Still according to Benz, the Atlantic Council — an entity funded by U.S. government agencies and composed of former CIA directors — allegedly formed partnerships with Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court (TSE) in 2022. The organization is said to have offered training and guided the removal of online content based on criteria established outside of Brazil.
