“Since this is an isolated irregularity, with no reports of other violations so far, as well as due to the Defense’s claim that Jair Messias Bolsonaro had ‘no intention of doing so, and has been strictly observing the imposed restrictions,’ I will not convert the precautionary measures into preventive detention. However, I warn the defendant that, if there is another violation, the conversion will be immediate.”

⁉️ The decision states that Bolsonaro is not prohibited from giving interviews. However, it considers a post by Eduardo Bolsonaro featuring his father's statements to journalists in the Chamber of Deputies as a violation of the precautionary order. In the decision requesting clarification from the former president’s lawyers, Moraes included not only Eduardo’s post but also a post by Estadão and a video by Metrópoles, thereby infringing on press freedom.
