If you all can think back to maybe a year ago, this is the logical progression of “King David should be discarded as a hero because he was a ‘rapist’”. You’re not allowed to have heroes or saints that exemplified virtues (except for scientists and doctors and professors and subversives and other clergy of modernism). You’re only allowed to somewhat like God so long as He is simplified to the point of no longer being God. You’re not allowed to like the Law unless it’s with the caveat that it’s mean and shouldn’t be said. You’re not allowed to like the Gospel unless you reduce it to nothingness.

Why? Because these people are evil. They hate anything that is good, like the great men we see in scripture. These people serve the god of evil.

The other day a British DR fellow on Telegram criticized me for being against the Canadian scenario of assisted suicide (notably after the recent infamous ad encouraging it) because of the usual trope that it offers relief to those nearing the end of a devastatingly painful terminal illness. Although I do have sympathy with such views (but have some serious qualms about it) I pointed out that we’re well past that. Now we’re into encouraging people who are poor, having difficulty finding a home, army vets with PTSD, and this woman to just end it all so life isn’t such a bother anymore. I predicted this back in 2015 when Canada’s Supreme Court overturned the law against assisted suicide but was assured by someone with similar views to that Brit that it would never devolve into what I predicted.
