Chatting with blue staters who relocated to red states is always a trip.
Like the zombies that they are, these "people" always seem totally lacking in any awareness of why the places they flee from are so difficult and expensive to live in — "nowhere is as expensive as California," they'll say — when they aren't complaining about the place they ran away from, they're complaining about the local culture and local politics of the places they flee to.
These braindead husks are all too eager to smugly volunteer their ignorance with NPRisms such as "the red states have the highest crime," providing a sneak peak of the alternate reality they inhabit where the crime isn't all happening in leftist-run cities like the ones they fled from.
A nice reminder that these "people" will have to be dealt with harshly if we're ever going to fix this country. Don't be shy about discriminating against them whenever possible. Don't do business with them. Don't welcome them. Tell them to go the fuck back where they came from.

We have seen that left-wing political change has come with left-wing terror. But an exception to this is the non-violence of the US civil rights movement.
Just kidding! There was terror and violence there also, conveniently forgotten.

Besides the obvious bad faith argument, this article represents one of the worst catholic arguments I see: The Bible is so confusing that normal people will read perverse meanings into it.

How Protestant Theology Boosted American Slavery
In the 19th century, Protestant supporters of slavery saw their mission not only as keeping their cultural institution alive, but defending Scripture.

The Bible is actually pretty concise on moral teaching, and is a good foundation for living a healthy life.

The entire purpose of the Church is to make disciples and provide life giving sacraments. The teaching authority is designed to keep reasonable guard rails not micromanage biblical interpretation.
