The last few days have been a fun turn for the saga of LCMS and friends.
Yesterday, Jordan B. Cooper (president of a seminary in full fellowship with the LCMS) received a public rebuke from Matt Walsh.
Say what you will about Walsh, I know I have criticisms very common for people on this part of the right, but he is willing to knock the ivory tower intellectuals out of their towers.
In this case, Cooper was criticizing the Daily Wire for their work, not because it’s a foreign organization of gatekeepers and subversives, but because they’re “political” and don’t accept enough leftist priors (like having to “prove” that men and women exist distinctly from each other).
Why is a prominent “conservative” Lutheran pastor voicing these complaints? I’ll let you infer, but for now, this episode fits nicely in the saga.
And by the way, Cooper is the Lutheran pastor who ghosted Panama Hat and I when we were trying to interview him earlier this year in January.

We also have a spokesman from the LCMS itself now saying that unless you want to tear apart scripture, women have to be able to teach and publish and preach (just from paper instead of vocally).
