📚 شرح استخدامات too في اللغة الانجليزية

1️⃣ نستخدم too قبل أي صفة بمعنى ‘more than enough’ اكثر من اللازم او المطلوب والمعنى هنا سلبي وليس ايجابي.

This coffee is too sweet.

I can’t sleep. It’s too hot.

The water was too cold to swim in.

Two hours is too long to wait.

The street is too dirty

This car is too expensive


2️⃣ نستخدمها عندما نتكلم عن الكمية اذا كانت كثيرة عن اللازم او اقل من اللازم باستخدام Too much, too many, too few and too little


There’s too much salt in this soup

There were too many dogs on the beach.

I don’t like this book because there are too few pictures in it

The trip was cancelled because there was too little interest in it.


3️⃣ نستخدم Much too and far too لأجل التشديد او التركيز على نقطة معينة حيث ان Far too أقوى في الوصف من Much too

My trip to London was far too short, I realise that now.

It is much too distant to reach by midnight.

$50,000 is far too much money for a car to me


4️⃣ الفرق بين استخدام too و very حيث انها تختلف في المعنى لاحظ معي الجملتين

She is very careful.
- هنا تعني بانها شديدة الحذر وهذه شيء طبيعي

▪️اما لو قلت
She is too careful.
- هنا تعني انها حذرة جدا أكثر من اللازم وهذا الامر غير طبيعي وصفة سلبية.


5️⃣ عندما نستخدم التشديد على أفعال مثل هذه ( like, dislike, hope, doubt. ) نستخدم very much ولا نستخدم too much


I like it very much because I got it from my husband.


6️⃣ في المحادثات وخصوصا في امريكا يستخدمون Too bad للتعبير عن الاستياء وكردة فعل للتعبير عن أسفنا لسماع شيء ما.

👨🏻: How’s your mother?

👩🏻: She’s okay but she’s feeling lonely because she lives on her own now.

👨🏻: That’s too bad. Does she have many friends living nearby?



👨🏻: The weather forecast says it’s going to rain again on Wednesday.

👩🏻: Too bad. We were planning to go for a picnic.


7️⃣ نستخدم too بمعنى also وهذا شائع الاستخدام وخصوصا في المحادثات الغير رسمية.

▪️مثلا انت وصديقك في مطعم ، وصديقك قام بطلب soup من النادل وانت تريد مثله أيضا ستقول I’ll have the suop too.

👳🏻:Have you decided?

👱🏻:I think I’ll have the soup.

👨🏻I’ll have that too.

8️⃣ الاستخدام الشائع Me too تعني وانا كذلك


👩🏻 :I love that colour.
👨🏻: Me too

الحالة الإجتماعية:-

🎈single   - /عزباء/ عازب

🎈engaged   -   خاطب أو مخطوبة

🎈married   -   متزوّج(ة)

🎈separated   -   منفصل(ة)

🎈divorced   -   مطلّق(ة)

🎈widow   -   أرملة

🎈widower   -   أرمل

▫️(To have the) option of...:
يكون لك الخيار في...


Example:

When I was younger I had the option of going straight to work at 16. Nowadays you have to be 18.
عندما كنت صغيرا كان لدي الخيار أن اذهب مباشرة للعمل في سن 16, هذه الأيام يجب أن تكون في الثامنة عشر من العمر لتعمل.

جيل من...
Example:

She comes from a generation of people who have grown up with the internet.

إنها تنحدر من جيل من الناس الذين نشأوا مع الإنترنت.

▫️To suffer from...:
يعاني شيئًا/من شيء

Example:

He's suffered from diabetes all his life. 
يعاني من داء السكريّ طيلة حياته.
