BTC address field was limited to 34 chars now updated to 62. If your address is to short let me know so I can correct it.
After extensive testing on vast.ai with every conceivable GPU I have released the Linux version of the vanity client. It works great. I was even able to test on a 8x 4090 rig yesterday and it performed amazingly at a whopping 3600 watts for the owner.
Woohoo quarter percent completed!
Just a heads up that starting sometime tomorrow the auto user pruning feature will start. Once a day any user that has never requested a range and is older then 30 days will be removed. They can recreate their account if they wish.
ttdclientBC66.0-Lin.zip client download has now been updated with working bitcrack source and working binaries for nvidia and AMD GPUs in Linux. Built and tested on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
We just crossed over the 1% milestone. Congrats. Lets hope for some luck!
ok so apparently someone sent a large sum of bitcoin to the 66 bit address bringing the total balance to 6.6 btc and some change. This should increase the amount of work people are willing to put into trying to solve it. I have updated the code to reflect the new balance. Good luck.
Severe storms in the area contributed to prolonged power outages. We are back up and running. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I have added worker support on the pool. Simply edit your settings.ini file and change the username line to "username.worker" The stats page will adjust automatically once ranges start getting submitted with your workers. Very useful for monitoring multiple PCs.
Just had a talk with F4lc0n90 that runs the newish pool over at http://f4lc0n.com:8080/ I have saved this chat for everyone to read that is interested. I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of this pool and I have definitive doubts in his logic. In the order of transparency I show all of you our chat today. Feel free to repost on forums of your liking. Also side note. I would never cross share ranges with another pool. http://www.ttdsales.com/66bit/F4lc0n90/messages.html
Congrats to all contributors on the pool for reaching 2% completed.
I am going to cover two milestones with this message. We crossed 1 million ranges checked over night and we are hours away from passing 3 percent. Average range completion rate is indicating a predicted whole percent being completed every 44.14 days right now. Also a reminder that this pools percentage is ACTUAL checked ranges not hopeful assumptions like some others.
Congrats everyone for reaching 4% completion. At current speed we can expect the next percent to happen in about 49 days.
There was a transformer that blew and took out power for the server today for about three hours. Everything is back up and running.
We are now over 5%. Congrats! We also have officially checked more keys then in the previous 64 bit pool in about 1/3 the time. At current speed we should hit 6% in about 44 days.
Server Power out once again. They are prepping for a major road construction project near the business that I have the server hosted at and they are doing a lot with the electrical grid in the area. I really hope these power interruptions stop soon. Expected to be up in about 2 hours hopefully less.
I switched from the Bitpay api to the Coinbase api to scrape bitcoin's current price for the pool's calculations.
6 Percent is here. At current speed we should see 7 percent in about 43 days. GO TEAM!!
Just made quint collisions less then 1000000. Woot Woot!!!!!
